Mustard Seed Music and Sports Promotion, in association with the Hull Lifesaving Museum, would like to announce the following:
This year's annual Harbor Illumination, held each summer along the "bayside" of Hull, MA, will include the "Harbor Illumination Music Festival" to be held at the "L" Street Ballfield on Saturday, July 25, 2015 prior to the Illumination. The Music Festival will take place from 6pm – 8pm. There will be food booths and more for kids and adults alike. We will have 3 bands and several solo artists perform. After the concert(s), the focus will shift to the bayside shoreline for a "lighted and decorated" parade of boats, followed by the Illumination itself.
Additionally, we are happy to announce the first annual "Illumination Songwriting Contest". Local singer/songwriters/musicians are invited to write a song dedicated to the "Illumination" and the Hull Lifesaving Museum and the winner will be performing their song live at the Harbor Illumination Music Festival and will have the opportunity to sell copies of the song at the Hull Lifesaving Museum. The song MUST include the word "Illumination" and also make mention of "Joshua James". The Harbor Illumination Committee will vote on the best song and choose the winner. Song entries (via CD, MP3, etc.) must be received by the Hull Lifesaving Museum no later than July 15, 2015.
Corporate/business sponsors and those wishing to sponsor a flare for the Illumination may contact the Hull Lifesaving Museum at firstname.lastname@example.org
