Nomination Letter to Rock City News ( MAD TEMPLE)

It is amazing to think that this band has evolved from it's previous reign over high school battle of the bands, and backyard parties. Most bands never make it out of their high school years due to immaturity and the incessant lingering of male dominance, ego, and prideful idiocy. This band, MAD TEMPLE has surpassed and broken free from the "four walled world" that society and the non-believers would have liked to see them chained to. Their musical inhibitions are minimal, always taking their music as well as their image to the next level. Having become a staple in the Hollywood rock scene, they are already well on their way to the top of the HIGH OCTANE latter, but the climb will not be easy. Luckily they have a full fledged support team including their families and the TEMPLE HEADS, who also serve as extended family, which I can proudly say I have become a devoted part of. The love for these guys is completely honest and unconditional. Anyone who knows them on a personal level knows it is impossible not to love them. Love them for their unbelievable talent, their charisma on and off the stage, and their honest love for the people who support them. I love the band, the music, and everything they stand for, which is the heart and soul and the future of Rock n' Roll as we know it. I have yet to see another young Hollywood Rock band attempting the same bold moves, and executing them with such devotion and perseverance. I believe they deserve to be recognized not only for their success as a band, but they deserve to be recognized for their drive, their ambition, and most of all for believing that Rock n' Roll is not dead; it has a new generation to please, a new generation to throw up a fist, to keep the tradition of a sea of swaying lighters accompanied by screaming fans, and make believers out of everyone that the Hollywood music scene still has something to offer.
