The Tillers Release, HAND ON THE PLOW on Muddy Roots Records, July 5th!

The Tillers are proud to announce the release of Hand On The Plow, July 5th 2013 at the Southgate House Revival in Newport KY. We’ve been working on our fifth album for over a year now, writing all new songs like Shanty Boat, The Road Neverending and I Gotta Move. We spent last winter in the studio with Brian Olive and Mark Van Patten pouring our hearts and souls into these new recordings. This spring we’ve been throwing ideas back and fourth with artist Keith Neltner who has been creating some amazing art for the new project. All this hard work has now come to fruition in the form of one awesome album if we do say so! We’re teaming up and releasing Hand On The Plow with Muddy Roots Recordings. The same folks who bring you Muddy Roots Fest in Tennessee and Muddy Roots Fest Belgium. A great group of ambitious and dedicated characters who we’re real excited to work with! Check Muddy Roots out HERE. Click to here to pre-order the new record! So, please join us Tillers, July 5th and share one hell of an evening with us as we bring you HAND ON THE PLOW! You won’t be disappointed!

The Tillers 2011 review and looking forward to 2012

Hello everyone. 2011 is over and what a year it was. From Texas to Okemah OK to New Orleans to Brooklyn NY to the far reaches of northern Wisconsin we traversed these great states. We'll never forget our friends on the road and folks we've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with, including another year with our hero Doc Watson. We will also fondly remember the wonderful benefit that we worked so hard to make happen, "To Sing With You Once More" www.tosingwithyouoncemore.com and tip our hats in remembrance of the great Southgate House.

We now venture into another year, and it's shaping up to be a good one for sure. Catch us in our hometown of Cincinnati for a few winter months. When the snow starts to melt we hit the road for our annual March tour (check out the dates and places under our shows link). The wheels continue to turn after that so keep checking out our website for added dates in a city, county, field, festival, basement or outhouse near you.

We love you all and thank you for your support in the old year. Keep on Tillin'!
