We have had a very busy exciting Fall! We have been preparing to release new music! This has involved a lot of planning since the guys have been busy with school. We had two awesome photo shoots with Rick Wenner Photography and we can't wait to release the photos. We are going back to the recording studio and will be releasing new music soon and launching a new website January 2012. On October 13th, we performed in the MEANY Fest and earned a top spot in the competition - top 15 out of 266 bands. We had a great time performing and met some very talented people! We have some really cool upcoming shows booked from Eastern Long Island to NYC! In NYC we will be at The National Underground, Alphabet Lounge and the Legendary Bitter End so check out our calendar and come out to see us. We would really love to see you there! Our most exciting news is that we have been selected by Kal Nwaneri's all new Sound and Image Showcase to go to Sony Headquarters in NYC to have our music reviewed. This is an amazing opportunity and we are grateful to Sound and Image Showcase, and Reverbnation for being selected. We are on cloud nine. We have a date in January to go the Sony Headquarters to meet for a Listening and Review Session.
Sunken Meadow Beach is awesome!! We had the BEST crowd! The beach was packed; people were dancing, hula-hooping and screaming. We loved it!! We can't wait to play there again on 8/31/2011.
On Monday night 8/22/2011 we played on the south shore of Long Island at National Blvd Beach in Long Beach. This was a concert sponsored by the Town of Long Beach Summer Concerts. The audience was an enthusiastic crowd from Long Beach and from all around Nassau County. Despite some gliches with the sound/amplifer/microphone we had a great time! It was great that the crowd on the beach was so into it. We definitely loved this venue and hope we will be back next summer! Thank you Town of Long Beach for having us. We appreciate it. Thank you thuggieA for your kind words and John for taking two buses to come to see us. You both are definitely getting the fan of the night awards!
Last night at The Oar was an absolute blast! The Oar was packed with people that danced and partied the night away! The crowd really enjoyed the music and gave us such a warm reception. We are looking forward to playing at The Oar again!
Last night at the View Restaurant we were greeted by a very enthusiastic crowd. Everyone was really into dancing and having a great time. It was great playing our originals and receiving such a positive response. It is always so energizing and inspiring to have the crowd really into it. The View Restaurant itself is an awesome venue with delicious food, outstanding atmosphere and a staff that is extremely friendly. This is a restaurant everyone should visit.
Hey Everyone! Thanks for the coolest night ever. We had the greatest time playing at Lessing's Pavillion Seafood Fest on the Boardwalk. The huge crowd rocked the night while enjoying delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere. The boardwalk and beach was packed with an enthusiastic crowd who danced, hula hooped and rocked the night away. We can't wait to play the Wednesday night Seafood Fest on the Boardwalk again. We are adding dates and have a firm date of August 31st so we hope to see you there!
Yesterday, we had a blast playing at the Clovis Point Winery in Jamesport. The crowd there was great, they were so receptive. We want to give a special shout to the lovely ladies of Boston. We appreciate your interest in our original music. You were a lot of fun. Every band should have a bunch of ladies like you in their audience. ;) We will be playing at the Clovis Point Winery again in late August and will update the calendar once we firm up the date. Try to get out to the Clovis Point Winery for an afternoon of delicious wine, beautiful scenery and great music. We hope to see you there!
We had a great time playing at the View Restaurant in Oakdale New York. It is a beautiful waterfront restaurant , hence, the name View. They have a patio overlooking the water that leaves you feeling that you are on a resort vacation. They have an unlimited sushi bar for a set fee. Order a tropical drink and you are in paradise! All of the restaurant staff are so nice. We are looking forward to our next gig there on August 6th. We hope you can make it!
Yesterday, We played at a surprise retirement party for the Principal of our former grammar school. We had a blast! We want to give a shout out to Mrs. Onsyko and let her know how much she is loved. She is the coolest principal EVER! Our Lady of Wisdom will not be the same. Mrs. Onsyko now that you are retiring we hope to see you at more of our shows :) .
