NEW ALBUM TITLE, COVER ARTWORK & TRACK LISTING REVEALED

Finally, after having spent most of June in the studio the new album is done and soon ready to be presented to all of you. “The Great Bludgeoning” will be released on the following dates around the world via Napalm Records: ESP/FIN/SWE: 21.09.2011 G/A/S, Benelux & ITA: 23.09.2011 Rest of Europe: 26.09.2011 USA/CAN 27.09.2011. The album is produced, mixed and mastered by our long time friend Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Sick Of It All, Moonspell, Dark Tranquillity) at the Antfarm Studios in Aarhus, Denmark, and cover artwork is done by Mircea Gabriel Eftemie, who has previously worked with Soilwork, Strapping Young Lad and Mnemic (where he also swings the guitar)... and also did our “Ballet of the Brute”-cover! The traclist is as follows: 01. The Killer 02. Venom 03. Smell Of Death 04. Decayer 05. The Wail Of My Threnode 06. Resurrect With A Vengeance 07. The Great Bludgeoning 08. Need To Kill 09. Devil In Your Own Hell Preorder the album here: Targetshop, http://targetshop.dk/uk/207586/Hatesphere/The_Great_Bludgeoning/ Nuclear Blast, http://www.nuclearblast.de/en/products/tontraeger/cd/cd/hatesphere-the-great-bludgeoning.html We have aimed the new album in a more old-school direction than its predecessor. With people this experienced joining the band it has been a very relaxed and enjoyable process to write the songs, and we have all agreed on the concept. More metal and everything that follows. The cover, the title and the lyrics speaks for themselves. We are an angry-sounding metal band, and we have no intention of denying that. That's why the cover is more back-to-the-roots and the lyrics are again about aggressions, drinking and hate. The things that HateSphere has always been about. Expect brutality, melody and groove in just the right dose. We have had one hell of a time writing and recording it, and we cant wait to present the album to all of you before long! Within a month or so, we will have the first song snippet and video ready for you - so keep your eyes and ears open. More info soon! /HateSphere

New bass player announced

After several months HateSphere is now ready to announce their new bass player, Jimmy Nedergaard (from Gob Squad) and a string of Danish shows with MTV Headbangers Ball Tour during September 2011. HateSphere is currently working on their 7th album which will be released via Napalm Records mid-September, 2011. Tue Madsen and HateSphere will begin the recordings on June 13th in the Antfarm Studio, Aarhus, Denmark. MTV Headbangers Ball Tour: 09-09-2011: Posten, Odense 10-09-2011: Voxhall, Aarhus 16-09-2011: Studenterhuset, Aalborg 17-09-2011: Fermaten, Herning 23-09-2011: Badeanstalten, Slagelse 24-09-2011: The Rock, Copenhagen 30-09-2011: Tobakken, Esbjerg 01-10-2011: Godset, Kolding Jimmy Nedergaard comments: “I’ve been a fan of HateSphere for a long time, so of course I had to audition. Both their music and the energy they put in their work appeals to me, and our future plans for HateSphere are the same, so it seems obvious to me, to work and play with these guys.” Hatesphere comments: “Finding a new bass player showed not to be as easy, as we had hoped but our patience luckily paid off. Being a metal head but coming from a punk rock background, Jimmy fits our profile perfectly. He knows what he is going into, he shares our visions with the band, he has tried something different than metal but still has it deep in his heart, and last but not least he's a great guy. Fitting in personally means a lot to us, so Jimmy's age and experience has made him the perfect choice. We have already played our first live show with him, partied with him and involved him in the writing process of the new songs, so he has had a busy start - just as we want it.” For further information and a complete show list: facebook.com/hatesphere666 hatesphere.com
