WHAT A GREAT YEAR for Front Range Recording Artist Mike Schikora

As the holidays approach and 2010 winds down, singer/songwriter and musician Mike Schikora is still 'spinning the plates' as he puts it! "It takes a lot of work to get that wheel to turn, once it starts, it takes more to keep it turning!" When Mike wasn't out on the road performing at rodeos in CO, NV and TX, he was back home stoking the fire, keeping other irons hot. One very hot iron is his songwriting! This year Mike teamed up with Nashville based Keaton Music Ventures in pitching his songs to major artists looking for their next big hit! The response has been overwhelming and very positive! Mike's music has been catching the ears of music row from major label A&R reps, producers like Dan Huff, to artists like George Strait, Reba, Wynonna, Billy Currington, Easton Corbin, Pam Tillis, Martina McBride, Jason Aldean, Bucky Covington, and many other established and new artists. It's only a matter of time until we hear his songs on the radio released by major artists if not by Mike himself! Mike as an artist has also caught the eye's (and ears) of some notable industry heavy star-makers! With all this attention Mike and his team in Nashville are planning to strike while this iron is hot too! They are discussing plans to do an industry showcase around the CRS (Country Radio Seminar) in early March. Look for Mike in an upcoming national ad campaign scheduled end of November for his sponsor, Susy Dooley Jewelry, the designer behind what Mike calls his 'Cowboy Mojo", the Kent Bullet necklace. Mike is featured wearing his 'Cowboy Mojo'', photographed sitting in his horses water trough at his barn! FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!! Mike is offering a special Fan Club Discount on his merchandise only through his Facebook Fan Club page. To become a member of the Mike Schikora Fan Club and take advantage of this special offer please go to: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=16821370809. Schikora is the real deal - a dying breed of ranchers/cowboys and a Rocky Mountain horseman. He rode his horse twice over the Continental Divide, started a Half Arabian Sport horse breeding business and continues to write songs for his publishing company, Tuck And Go Music. He stays humble and true to his country roots with musical influences including Chet Atkins, Floyd Cramer, Boots Randolph, Billie Holiday and The Judds. Schikora's latest album, This Cowboy's In Love is a foot stomping, western swing music mixed with jazz and blues. He brings the music alive and captivates audiences with his strong tenor vocals and unique melodies and songwriting. Hear what people are already saying: "The single showcases the traditional cowboy country elements that we've come to expect...this album easily goes above and beyond his debut and showcases what Mike can bring to the table." Today's Country Magazine - Read full review "…the listeners are enjoying the REAL country sound from Mike in the world of country music. He certainly has what it takes to reach the top with his unique sound." - Rod Bradey / Yarra Valley FM 99.1 in Melbourne Australia "Mike's…smooth, soulful voice and imaginative writing add to his allure.
