As some of you may have noticed, there has been a few changes and updates with Silhouette over the past two months. First, we'd like to officially welcome our new bassist, Alex Knight, into the mix. Alex is a very talented, multi-instrumental musician who has fit in perfectly with the rest of the band and added another dimension to our sound. We are all glad to have Alex on board and look forward to the evolution of the band with him rounding out the rhythm section. Also, we are excited to announce that we will be returning to the Brazos Valley to kick off our 2011 regional tour dates on February 19th with Signal Rising at The Stafford Main. We always have a blast performing in the area and are looking forward to making another appearance at the Stafford and being part of such a great lineup. We will then return to Fort Worth the following Friday (Feb. 25th) at Tomcat's West with Waking Alice and How Fiction Ends. We are working on and adding new spring/summer dates everyday, so keep checking with us and thank you to all our friends and fans for keeping this ride going and helping us grow.
Sexy supporter of homegrown music, Angela Chase, debuted our single "The Stigma" last Monday, Sept. 13 on KEGL's Loud and Local show. To all friends and fans of Silhouette: you can request Silhouette- "The Stigma" via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you all for the support. Let's get the new album heard!
Hey friends, fans, and all those who have taken the time to check out and buy the new album: Many thanks, for you are keeping us sustained in a trying time as we begin to embark on the touring, showcases, publicity, and promotion efforts that follow. We are taking October off too preprare and confirm our fall live schedule, but if you are in the Houston, Oklahoma City, Shreveport, Austin, Lubbock, Denton, Dallas, San Antonio, and Chorpus Christi areas, you will be seeing Silhouette over the next year. We will be keeping you posted with the dates as we confirm them. In the meantime, we are humbly asking fans in those towns to spread the word about the band and help make these shows a success. You guys are the ones who keep a young band like ourselves invigorated through the constant grind, so thank you all once again. Also, if you are interested in contacting us directly and want to help, then feel free to join the street team and we will give away VIP and guest list passes to our street team members at the shows, so it's a win-win. Hit us up and thank you for keeping art alive. Much love, Matt (vocalist)
