Debut Album and other News

Hey Friends!

This has already been such a great year for this band. New tunes, new merch, and most importantly, NEW ALBUM! We are so excited to share it with you all.

We went into the studio in January of this year to record with our friend Jeff Moore at Yellowdog Studios here in Austin. Over the next month or so, we worked on mixing and producing it so that it was exactly how we wanted it to be. The album was officially released in late April and has been received so well! We played a show in NW Austin at Fellowship Northwest Church and we were absolutely blown away by the turnout and support.

To anyone and everyone who has listened and supported us thus far, from the bottom of our hearts, Thank You. We wouldn't be here were it not for you guys. We are looking forward to the next steps, namely writing more songs and playing more shows in the near future.

Until then! -P.O.

First Blog by Pocket Odyssey

Hey all, The name of this group is Pocket Odyssey. We came up with the idea back in high school; the name is based off of the idea that an act or entity that is small and seemingly insignificant can be infinitely complex and meaningful, such as Homer's Odyssey inside your pocket. When we started writing, we were a bit rough. For each of us, it was the first time to play in a group. It has been five years since that time and we have come a LONG way. Currently, we have about four master tracks, but seven or eight original songs. We thank God for a chance to glorify him with our talents and we all enjoy playing very much. We're always on the lookout for opportunities like any other group. Last summer, we headlined our first show in Georgetown, Texas. We hope to do more of the same in the future. We are looking forward to making more music for you all and hearing back from you. -P.O.
