Who's the fairest, God or Death?

Who's the fairest, God or Death?

(A Mexican folk story my brother Alex Perez told me).

There was a poor Mexican peasant who all his life fantasized about eating a whole chicken all by himself; he wasn't able to afford a whole chicken because he was too poor to buy one. Then later in life his harvest was so bountiful that he got some extra cash on hand. Naturally he bought a chicken before he headed back home to his village. At last he was going to fulfill his lifelong dream.

After copiously cooking his fowl, he sat down in his courtyard one evening, ready to satisfy his healthy appetite. Before he was able to fork the first bite into his wide open mouth, his best friend walked up to him, requesting a share of the seasoned feast. The frustrated peasant paused and said to him, "I'm not sharing my chicken with you because I want you to work harder to buy your own chicken so you may know the pride and joy I'm feeling right now." His friend could say no more to rebut such a reasonable argument.

Shortly thereafter, Jesus Christ came to our hungry fiend with a request to partake of the savory meal too. The witty peasant replied to the humble Savior, "Lord, as generous as you may be, you're not fair to all. You created only a few rich while the rest of us are sent here poor and destitute, suffering so much to get a decent meal daily; that's why I'm not sharing my chicken with you since I endured so much to get it with no help from you. The Holy One added no response and sadly walked away.

Next came Death wanting a piece of the tasty chicken stew as well. The grinning peasant answered, "Yes Death, I'd very honored to share my whole chicken with you because you're very fair to all and do not spare anyone. You take all men when their time comes regardless of whether they're rich or poor, smart or dumb, young or old. Please have a seat and eat with me; as I see it you're the only one who ever helped me get this chicken because you did not come to take me prematurely."

They ate and drank. Then Death departed to the underworld with the peasant he had come to visit because his time was up; he was treated to the peasant's last meal as an added job bonus.

Can you tell who is fairer between God or Death? Who will be your guest at your last meal? Just make sure you choose your guests carefully.

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" ~ Hebrews 9:27.

"For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come". ~ 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.

Do we even notice beauty?

“A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that 1,100 people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.

Three minutes went by, and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing. He slowed his pace, and stopped for a few seconds, and then hurried up to meet his schedule.

A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping, and continued to walk.

A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work.

The one who paid the most attention was a 3 year old boy. His mother tagged him along, hurried, but the kid stopped to look at the violinist. Finally, the mother pushed hard, and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. All the parents, without exception, forced them to move on.

In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed for a while. About 20 gave him money, but continued to walk their normal pace. He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over, no one noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.

No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the most talented musicians in the world. He had just played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, on a violin worth $3.5 million dollars.

Two days before his playing in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out at a theater in Boston where the seats averaged $100.

This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste, and priorities of people.

The outlines were: in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour: Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context?

One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be: If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing?”

A prophetic word from Bonnie Jones (Bob Jones' wife)

“This powerful word is about a lot of you God's Modern-day Circuit Riders”

There have been many forerunners with various gifting that have never been recorded in the history books of mankind. They were never known nor their gifting understood. Many men and Women over the centuries walked in a tremendous anointing of the Holy Spirit and demonstration of His power. People of their day could not embrace the work of the Holy Spirit these forerunners exhibited. Instead people mocked, ridiculed and denied the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and the anointing away. Many of there forerunners were circuit riders that traveled the back hills of Kentucky, Tennessee and the heartland of America. Some would travel to the unsettled West and to the indigenous peoples of the desert. Their message Was repentance, holiness, faith and the fear of the Lord. As they traveled, their faith led them to believe for greater Works. God honored their simple. faith and obedience to His Word. Every place these forerunners traveled, people Were saved and healed. Many miracles, signs and Wonders occurred. These forerunners spent their entire lives birthing the Pentecostal movement, yet they were never recognized in man's history books. However, God has not forgotten or the great sacrifices made by each one as they paved the way for us. In their time it took many days, weeks and often months for communication to reach its destination unlike today where everything in instantaneous. The printed Bible was not readily available like it is today therefore the circuit rider became an invaluable tool in the hand of God to spread the Good News throughout America.

Recently I Was shown many postage stamps that were held in reserve for such a time as this. I believe these stamps represent the past anointing that bore witness to the cross and the power of the Holy Spirit. This anointing never died! People weren't ready for these forerunners because they didn't understand the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and the demonstration of His power. People fled in fear instead of receiving by faith. This did not limit the forerunning circuit riders, they continued their journey of faith and obedience. In this vision I was handed many stamps that were extremely valuable. I believe there will be circuit riders that will come to America to evangelize our soil. There have been great deposits of the Holy Spirit and His manifest power made in other nations for many centuries. This anointing never died. The deposit is still available for distribution today. There will also circuit riders raised up in America with the anointing of their forefathers and foremothers that will take this anointing to the nations worldwide. This will be a cross pollination of the nations worldwide. God is now going to shed light on the anointings of centuries passed and allow the history of these unknown circuit riders to be uncovered so that people can understand that which was, still is and must be. "As of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession". (Psalms 2:8)

These anointings never died and their residue remains as hour inheritance. "That which is has already been, and what is to be has already been And God requires an account of what is past" (Eccl. 3:15). Get ready to see many circuit riders go forth in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit as these postage stomps are released and sent forth Unlike the prior fore-running circuit riders; The good news will travel fast. These great men and Women paved the way with their lives and dedication to the cross. We must now pickup where they left off and not be concerned about making a name for ourselves but pave the way for the next generation. We must be led by the Holy Spirit and let God's hand guide us through the uncharted back roads. We can once again evangelize the nations like our nameless, faceless forerunners did.

Hope is Word

I'm in hell in paradise I get help to live like a parasite Though I was sent here a posse To bring a new paradigm A shift that makes life a living

I cannot conquer my hopes I am overcome by my dopes Living is a bending shot Life lost in a liquor shot My drink is not whiskey My bet is not risky I have just been thinking Your word I trust with no thinking I am living the walk of faith For you I die for in you is my fate After eons of sowing and crying Maybe it's time for reaping Don't get me wrong I'd follow you just for you But since you promised I won't hurt to see grace And abundance come along

Pain is my rain Blood is my sweat But you sweet Jesus Are the life I long To gain for the World I lost Joy is death alive If the dead zero is praised The living hero must be raised I mourn what is to come I rejoice for what is gone

Still my hope is better than Any crop I die to see live For Christ in me the hope of Glory I must expect to behold you With my own eyes in my flesh

After worry my skin worms have flushed Give it take it Christ whom I seek For Earth must be and stay dirt Death is for the children To me you have begotten
