NEW BANDMATE!!

Well, we recently were introduced to a fine guitar player by the name of Jon Luther, from Olympia. Jon has been playing for many years, and is primarily self-taught... The thing is, this young man decided to 'teach' himself one of the hardest styles in guitar... Classical! His technique and ear is highly tuned. Jon really knows how to fingerpick the strings, and will add SO much to the flavor of the group! He's still in the 'try-out' phase, but we think he's here for good... Jon is also adept at Bass guitar and is thinking of taking up banjo, octave mandolin, or bouzouki, or some such.... He is familiar with Jazz, Blues, as well as some rock.. but his passion is Classical. His hard-driving rhythm and attention to the pace of the music will go far... Stay tuned! Also, JOP will be coming out in February with some new CDs for ya'll ! :)

The band meets FOX Network!

Well, I've got a LOT to tell everyone! First, we are very humbled and honored at having been asked by Andrew T. Miller (www.andrewtmiller.org) to assist him in one or more episodes to be aired on FOX Network this Fall in a reality show entitled "The Composer!" - We're VERY excited to be making our network television debut. Second, I wish to give a shout out to our newest, and very talented fiddler, acoustic and bass guitarist, mandolin player, and vocalist" Kelly VanBlaricom! What a sweetheart!... I'm sure everyone will agree- Come by the stage and say hello! :) Yours' truly has taken up fiddle, and I've fallen in love with it! Wish me luck! ;) My vocals have come 180 degrees- I've realized some things are possible where previously- they were not... "It's all good!" So.... MUCH ... TO ... TELL... !! Guess I'm going to have to blog more often! lol... Jamie
