Coaster's Bar and Grill SE 60th and Powell, Portland Saturday, September 14th 8pm Free 21+ Two year anniversary party for Coaster's. Open to the public. Come for some great music, food and drink. There will be games, prizes and food/drink specials throughout the night. Note the earlier start time.

The M and M Lounge 137 Main St., Gresham Friday and Saturday, October 4th and 5th 9pm Free 21+ Great to be back on Main Street in Gresham! The M and M always treats the band well. Two nights! Par-Tay!

July 2013 Schedule

We have three great performances coming up in the last half of July! Check these out:

Portland Highland Games Friday, July 19th 6pm-9pm, $5 Mt. Hood Community College--Football Stadium Gresham, OR All ages. The Portland Highland Games is trying something new this year: They're having some events start at 3:30pm on Friday and then live music at 6pm (there will be food and beverage service available). We'll be performing in a large tent on the football field and it will be an awesome time. It's earlier than our normal gigs, it's all ages and at least two of the band members will be wearing kilts on the stage. More details at http://www.phga.org/program/

Spinella's Off The Wall Friday, July 26th 9pm-midnight, Free 436 N. Main St. Gresham 97030 21 and over. Spinella's is an awesome new bar in downtown Gresham. This will be an acoustic show featuring guitars, vocals and three different combinations of singers. Come on out for a great evening of acoustic music.

Review: M and M Lounge gig on March 3rd, 2011

Bonnie Carter, the editor of Positively Entertainment and Dining, wrote a short blurb about Saturated Phats' gig at the M and M on March 3rd. It appeared in the March 14th issue. There were over 200 people at the M and M for the gig, so we figured some of you who were there might like to read it: "Drummer & PE&D staffer Ed Jordan joined me at the M&M in Gresham recently to hear Saturated Phats (November PE&D cover band). It was standing-room-only as dancers packed the floor for the harmony-rich group; all four members sing on a wide variety of tunes ranging from The Joker, Smooth and LaBamba, to Proud Mary, I’m Yours, You Really Got Me and a number of unique originals. In Ed’s words, the band is “sultry, tight and smooth.” You can hear some of their music on their Facebook or Myspace pages. Or better yet, check their ad or the Bandstand and go out to hear them live! Michael Spinella is doing a fine job of booking the M&M these days; visit anytime for the best music.

Both places were packed. The M & M was so crowded that the club had to call in more servers for the 200+ people who showed up. Washington County here we come! Leo's is a small bar that is a lot of fun to be at. If the stars align correctly we might be unveiling a new ACDC tune this night. Hopefully there will be an astrology expert in the club to give guidance on this topic. IRISHTOWN BAR AND GRILL Saturday, APRIL 2ND 9pm-1am, $3 11600 SE Mill Plain Blvd Vancouver, WA 98684 21 and over. Our last show at Irishtown was full of fun dancing, drinking and par-tay-ing. Irishtown is only about 20 minutes from downtown Gresham or the Lloyd Center area, just across the I-205 bridge on Mill Plain. Irishtown is a big club with a nice dance floor, great sound system and wonderful food/drinks. "THE BIRK"- Birkenfeld Country Store Saturday, APRIL 16TH 7-10, free 11139 Hwy 202 Birkenfeld 97016 All ages. This is always a fun party in the country. Owners Mike and Wendy treat everyone right and it shows in the following they're getting every Friday and Saturday night. On a related note, Saturated Phats is very excited to be part of Birkfest on August 12th and 13th this summer. Birkfest is a two day music festival in Birkenfeld (organized by Mike and Wendy) that will feature many great acts from our region and across the USA. More info to come on this one!
