Debut Album Release Show!

A month from today, the second Friday of March, we will have our album debut show at Grant's Lounge. We held our first album fundraiser there last June & we will have our album release show there in March. Heidi Clinite will be a special guest musician during our set that night as well as other special guest musicians (to be announced.) There will be an art show featuring Thomas Sanders, prints of his work will be for sale. We will give a live performance of the album as well as other original songs and a few special cover songs. After our set, there will be a big jam session and we will have all of our merchandise and the album for sale. We will also be giving the donation packages to all of those who donated online & in person. We are so excited! We have been working on this particular project for a very long time, we have recorded and played for years but actually completing the entire process of the album is a life goal/dream come true! Please celebrate this special evening with us. We still have more special news to announce for this show, but we will make those announcements once all of the details are confirmed. Thanks so much to each and every one of you who have been a part of our journey so far. It means a lot! We can't wait to see you all at the album release party!!

The Vineyard Band in Winterville & on the radio!

Hello everyone! We have some exciting news that we wanted to share with our friends & fans. We recently were featured as "Artist of the Week" on 97.5 The Wolf Country Radio in Middle Georgia! We were featured on "The Home Grown Show," which showcases local talent from Athens to Valdosta. It was an incredible feeling to hear our songs being played on the radio, not to mention a dream come true!

You can listen to our EP online at our new website:

If you like what you hear, then put in a request over at 97.5!

If you are interested in obtaining a copy, they will be available at our next show or contact us through our website!

Speaking of shows, our next show brings us to The Front Porch Book Store in Winterville, Ga. Small town, big time & dancing is required! This is our kinda gig! Please join us on Saturday, August 25th at 6pm for a good time! Bring your blankets, picnics & the whole family!

Next, we find ourselves back in our hometown of Atlanta! We will be performing on Saturday, September 8th, 10 pm, at The Graveyard Tavern in The Basement. Not just a basement, but a cool basement with a stage & bar! This show will be 21 & up, so leave the kids at home & let's party!

Then, we will be returning back to The International City Fall Festival in Warner Robbins on Saturday, September 29th. Last year was the festival's first year in existence, which was a lot of fun. This year's festival is already looking to be bigger & better!

Last (for now), we will be performing for 600+ runners in the Rock N Roll Road Race in Macon, Ga on Saturday, November 17th. This is one of the many exciting events leading up to Fly South Festival. The details are still in the works, so more on that later.

We now have an official booking person, so for booking email Brandy@TheVineyardBand.com or reach us through our website or facebook. We have sent out several press kits & now have more than one person working on booking, so I am sure that we will be announcing more shows soon! Stay tuned!

Also, if you know of any venues & events where we would be a good fit, we always appreciate referrals!

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Summer & I hope to see you at any or all of our upcoming shows!

The Vineyard Band

Happy Saint Patrick's Day

Hi everyone! Just wanted to touch base & talk about a few new things going on with the band.

We have added two new members, we welcome James Wolf on peddal steel & Joe Jackson on drums! Be sure to introduce yourselves & welcome them to the band at the next show.

We have TWO shows this weekend for St Patrick's Day! 4pm @ Central City Park for The Cherry Blossom Festival & 7-9pm @ The Opening Act in down town Macon. See you there!

Also, we are changing our name to "The Vineyard Band." Not too much of a difference, except of course when it comes to finding us on the internet. Try googling "The Vineyard" & then try googling "The Vineyard Band." HUGE difference.

That being said, we have a few new places where we can be found.

We now have a youtube channel! You can find us at youtube.com/TheVineyard Band. So far we have 3 videos of live performances including our songs "Cheap Motel Rooms," "Cowboy," & "Beach." Go take a look!

We now also have a Sonic Bids Press Kit at sonicbids.com/TheVineyard2.

We have written a new bio:

A young band with an old soul, bringing back the sounds of traditional country & folk music with a new & unique spin. Features twangy steel peddle guitar, vocals that wail, heartfelt songwriting, lots of harmonies & that funky bass. WIth influences ranging from Pink Floyd to Patsy Cline, The Beatles to Johnny Cash, John Prine to Sublime, & all three Hank’s you are sure to hear the unique spin that The Vineyard puts on country music. “We are making music in a genre that is thirsty for real, down to earth, authentic music. We like to think that our music quenches that thirst, much like a vineyard provides fruit for wine.”

Tell us what you think!

We have finally purchased our website domain name, so expect a new website soon.

Yes, we are still hard at work on that mysterious album that we keep threatening...some day soon.

Stay tuned!

Haven't written in over a year...

But yet again find myself saying "what a difference a year makes!" We have had a few people come and go, but we have stuck it out through the tough times & discouragement. No matter what has happened along the way, we have never given up, we have continued to press forward and focus on the music. We are still recording our first album, we are playing gigs here and there in between recording sessions. We have our own studio & recording studio space in downtown Macon called Love SIC Recordings! We just added Adam Gorman, an amazing guitar player as well as James Wolf, an awesome steel peddle player, to our line up. We are auditioning drummers but enjoy our sound without drums as much as we do with, so we will see how that works out. We have had several exciting local press opportunites lately including being interviewed by local blog authors, local music venues, the local morning news & a two page spread in M Food & Culture Magazine!!! We are very proud and excited! Please check us out on facebook, twitter, myspace, reverbnation, uvumi, last.fm, & thesixtyone! Please check our show section regularly because I am always adding show dates!

We are The Vineyard and we love to make music. We are in the process of recording our first album and playing shows! You can check us out on myspace @ myspace.com/thevineyard3 and also become a fan of The Vineyard on facebook. Also on last.fm, thesixtyone.com & ezfolk.com.
