I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of you for your emails, text's, FB messages, and calls throughout the duration of the tour these past few months. It was wonderful seeing old friends again and making new ones, and I'm at a loss for words to express how grateful I am for all of your continued support. It is very heartfelt! As a musician I can only say that the connection between us is what I value the most, and always will. As we go through our daily lives, please remember we all have our gifts and our talents, no more so than being a loving mother or father, or a true friend to those we hold dear. We all make mistakes, but those who never judge or condemn us and simply accept us for who we are become the prized roses in our gardens of living dreams. And it is you who inspire me the most to carry on. I wish the happiest of holidays to you and your families.
with much love,
Jess

Was pleasantly surprised when I came across a few submixes recently, three songs in particular that Chuck Hammer had laid guitar tracks down on from my "No Gravity" CD. Chuck recorded several versions for each song, the thought being that later I could pick and choose what best contributed to supporting the overall theme for the final mix.
In "Sliding on Light" - Berlin) he is direct and deliberate, emphasizing exact tonal control for full sonic deployment to paint the sky with various color fields.
"Long Time Comin" - Berlin) was performed utilizing the whammy under precise feedback control to express the subtlety of intricate timbres and harmonics. You'll notice how the guitars actually relay a sense of controlled flight.
"No Gravity" - Berlin) is presented as a 'pavane' or dance between two characters departing earthly restrictions. Bluesy in nature, the language of the guitars is one of tonal spiraling, pulls, and bends, which coax the soul from the emotional body. A simply beautiful performance.
Injoy,
Jess
