CALMNESS IN OUR LIVES I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished." So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, a box of chocolates, and the last bit of the tequila. You have no idea how good I feel right now. Pass this on to those whom you think might be in need of inner peace. Hope is the power of being cheerful in circumstances which we know to be desperate!!!

LISTEN TO OUR COMPOSITION ENTITLED "WHY" , A LAMENT FOR KATRINA
8. Why (Ben Martinez) – This tune is dedicated to the families (of the victims) of Hurricane Katrina, offering serenity, hope and best wishes for renewed dreams in the wake of tremendous devastation witnessed the morning of Aug 29, 2005. This lamentful ballad places the listener in the cathartic serenity of the storms passing, and at one point the emotion slowly speeds up in tempo as awakening hearts begin to race slightly to communicate to numbed cognitive senses that as survivors with renewed destinies, all the same blessed children of God, we are now on a path perhaps only slightly veered in our loss. God Bless them all.
