The NW Folklife Festival in Seattle over Memorial Day weekend is one of the nation's largest folk festivals and a great kickoff to the summer.
I will be teaching a free "Basics of slide guitar" workshop at the festival on Saturday at 5:30 pm. at the Olympic Room.
Even if you have never picked up a slide or attempted to play slide guitar you are welcome to attend. By the end of the session you will know the basics to add this wonderful sound to your music.
There will be a free handout I put together that carefully goes through everything you need to know to get started.
See you in Seattle.
