Despite being a bit under the weather, the many new friends I met during a performance weekend kept me well motivated to perform strong ... a wonderful weekend at Aromas Williamsburg, the Coffeehouse and a great party (Oyster Roast) at the Watermen's Museum in Yorktown, VA (well over 200 folks in attendance).
Performances at the Third Annual Yorktown Folk Festival sponsored by the Watermen's Museum. What a weekend .... performances on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25. Great turn out! Lots of vendors. Something for all ages. Looking forward 4th Annual next year. Great job Watermen guys ... fantastic job on the festival!
What a night in the Williamsburg Library Theater on Sept. 22nd. Big crowd full of fun folks who enjoy a concert of acoustic instrumental works. Special thanks to the sound folks at the Williamsburg Library Theater, they did a spectacular job. The Martin KOA guitar sounded terrific! Thanks also to all of the great folks who came out for the music on a dark and rainy night. The screen show as a backdrop for the concert (full of shots from National Parks - celebrating 100 years!). Real popular part of the concert Thanks again to all of the great participants! Thank you! Shots below represent tune up and sound check prior to the concert. Always a fun experience!
Wonderful visit back to the Blue Talon again on Sunday, Sept. 18th. Lots of great folks interested in the music and the new CD. Thanks so much!

Another fun acoustic weekend in Williamsburg at Aromas on Friday night and on Saturday at Yorktown Market Days. Met lots of great new folks at both events. In particular on Saturday outdoors as temperatures hit the upper 90's. My Martin hight density laminate guitar did great during the outdoor experience. Really steamy out there today. All went GREAT! I always look forward to performing at both Aromas and at Yorktown Market Days!
