Fun experience at both Discover Teas 6th Anniversary in Newport News and a salute to the weekend at the Blue Talon in Williamsburg!
A great Sunday at the William and Mary Bookstore and Cafe! The cafe was packed. Lots of wonderful folks enjoying live acoustic music on a brisk Sunday in March downtown in CW!
Last night (3/3), I had just a terrific time performing at a new venue, The Brass Cannon Brewing. .Founded by enthusiastic homebrewers, Brass Cannon Brewing is a craft brewery dedicated to the production of high quality beer. They offer a wide range of styles at their tap room in Williamsburg, Virginia. If you enjoy beer, this is your stop! As a performance venue, it is outstanding! Great crowd, actively engaged in the performance. 100% WOW!
Had the great opportunity to help our two great friends (Chris and Ken), close out their Discover Teas Williamsburg shop today. Lots of great customers stopped in to enjoy the great shop one last time. Don't fret, Chris and Ken have another Discover Teas in Port Warwick - 2170 William Styron Square. Come and visit! I'll be performing at least once per month. Check out my web page at www.reverbnation.com/lcvproject or at their facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/discoverteasNN/
Holiday music performed at both the Blue Talon Bistro in Williamsburg and also for the Williamsburg Parkinsons Support Group at Williamsburg Landing. Lots of great people enjoying the holiday tunes!
Christmas performances are going great! This weekend performances at Aromas Newport News on Friday night and The Coffeehouse in Williamsburg on Saturday morning. Great folks at both venues enjoying the holiday music! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!
Another great performng weekend in Williamsburg. Thursday, Thanksgiving at an amazing restaurant (packed all day) - Waypoint. On Friday, at a wonderful tea house call Discover Teas (great Black Friday event) .... and finally on Saturday, at the Williamsburg Farmers Market, with a packed house enjoying the holiday solo acoustic guitar music. Just amazing (the little ones had a great day as well, dancing to the holiday music)! Happy Holidays from Williamsburg, VA!
Fun weekend in Williamsburg and Newport News, performing for large crowds at both venues - Aromas Williamsburg and Discover Teas Newport News. What a wonderful time. Special thanks to the great staffs at both locations for there wonderful support of the music and thanks to all of the great new friends made at both settings. Amazing!
5 performances in 4 days ... what a week. Really fun events beginning last Wednesday at Waypint, then on Friday performing at Aromas Newport News, next a double header on Saturday, in the early afternoon at the Watermen's Museum for their fund raising Chili Cookoff, then down the road to the Virginia Living Museum and their fund raiser Oyster Roast, finishing up on Sunday at a private function at the Kings Point Club House. What a week ... so many wonderful folks enjoying the music and really enjoying the events! Special thanks to all of the folks who coordinated these outstanding events and for including me in the mix! Thank you all!
An article published in the VA Gazette was recently forwarded to me. This article was about a performance I gave at the Williamsburg Library Theater in September, 2016.
Great Evening, Great Concert
I recently attended a free concert at the Williamsburg Library Theater -- what a wonderful performance was offered by Lou Vangieri, The LCV Project. He performed a wide variety of solo acoustic guitar instrumentals, including songs from his new album (10 More Songs). It is so wonderful to have a top notch guitarist living and performing in Williamsburg. Add the Williamsburg Library Theater to his terrific sound and you've got something special (nice job with the video backdrop during the concert honoring the National Parks 100 Year Celebration). Thanks, Williamsburg Library Theater, for inviting Mr. Vangieri back each year. It's a very special concert in our town! For more information on his act, visit his website at www.reverbnation.com/lcvproject (lots of great music at the site).
