After many months and countless auditions Mary Jane’s Pride would like to announce the addition of our new Bass Player Billy Croghan. Billy is from Jackson, MI and will be a valuable asset to MJP. Not only does he bring his hard hitting and solid bass lines to every song, he is an accomplished song writer and promises to bring a new and exciting dynamic to the stage and studio.
During our audition process we took many variables into account for the selection of our bass player. We wanted to make sure that the musician fit with our sound, band dynamic, and most of all something our fans would appreciate. Billy fit all the categories of our rigorous selection process and will not disappoint all of our fans in MJP Nation.
We have just finished laying the final tracks for our highly anticipated CD. We are premiering "Pine Box Letter" this Sunday 5-19 at around 10:30 P.M. on tapdetroit.com
We are now in the market for a promoter and/or manager. The right person should have an extensive knowledge of the music industry in general and be capable of booking shows on a regional scale. Our 6 Song EP will be out in August and we want to have everything in place for the release and possibly a Midwest tour immediately following.. Any ideas or takers?
Wow, Things are moving so fast in the MJP camp it's hard to even stop to reflect. We have so many great things coming up this summer. We're playing at Rockapalooza in June, and then Lielapalooza in July. We go into the studio in May to record our 6 song Ep with a projected release date of early August and we have a very special release party in the works. I can't say anything now but when this gets booked, it is going to one to remember. More to come on that in next month or two. All of us at MJP really want to thank all of our friends, family and fans for supporting us. We love you all!!!!
