Brother Bagman off to a great start in 2010!!

Brother Bagman has been hard at work over the past two years and it has been paying off.In Oct. of 09, RELIX MAGAZINE did a write up on Brother Bagman and they were featured on the RELIX compilation Album. With the release of their third album "Rise Above" in Jan. 2010 and the return of Cliff Moore on bass, Brother Bagman is having an amazing start to the new year. The New album "Rise Above" was almost two years in the making. At one point, the album was scrapped and restarted from scratch. With the adition of Organ,Rhodes, from keyboard legend Jonny Neal, (who has/is playing with The Allman Brothers Band, Government Mule, and Blue Floyd) on all the tracks, The wait has been worth it. The return of Cliff Moore on bass has been a testament to the bands core value. The music must go on with brotherhood. After being on the road for almost a year with three time Grammy nominated, and four time Blues Music Awards nomitated Michael Burks, Cliff is ready to get back to his roots and brothers in Brother Bagman. Brother Bagman is starting to gain momentum with the winning of the Waka Winter Classic in Feb. earning them a spot at the 2010 WAKARUSA Music Festival in Ozark, Arkansas. After that victory, The band won the Summer Camp on the Road tour two weeks later securing their spot at the 2010 Summer Camp Music Festival. They will also be making appearances at the MOKAN Music Festival, Tree Tall Music Festival in Illinois, and hopefully another returning spot at the famous Shwagstock Music and Arts Festival held every year at Camp Zoe just outside of Salem,MO. It looks like Brother Bagman does have a great year ahead of them.
