Hello everyone, there has been a lot going on.
1) Yesterday, I visited Box photography to pick out my pictures for my album. The wife and I went and we choose 7 shots that we are both very pleased with. The next step is for Gary to call once He is finished with the pictures. I will sharing some of the shots with you once they are done.
2) ReverbNation has stripped my rankings from me. I did get a response today from one of the Technical support guys we will see what happens tomorrow. I did loose about 1,000 fans from my reverb fan base. So we will see how it affects me tomorrow. I am still pressing forth with my 1 Million son play mission. If you have the time please come by these sites and support the movement by spinning the music. We are currently at 533,492 plays. Please support at these 2 sites http://www.reverbnation.com/darrynzewalk or http://www.jdarrynzewalk.com 3) I am in the process of working on my branding. My great friend Kent McCracken has agreed to do the artwork for my brand as well as my artwork for my CD. It is truly a blessing to have friends that do this work and are skilled at their craft. I am looking forward to what he comes up with. I will keep you posted as things develop.

I have truly been working to get my album completed, There are many things that need to be taken care of prior to the release. This is actually tougher than the last project I released. learning the music business has been very rewarding however it has also been enlightening in regards to how you do things. These are the things left to do before the release: 1) Pick out a photo from my photo shoot. 2) Finalize my logo and branding 3) Decide weather or not to sign the record deal that is on the table that being re-negotiated. 4) Get all my merchandise in place 5) Get the campaign going and pick a spot for the release party. So there are my top 5 things to do.. I will keep you posted on each item as it approaches. Please continue to pray for the process. Have an amazing weekend. Take care, stay encouraged & God bless you.
There is a lot going on with me. I have been working very hard to finish my new album. The Lord is moving in a mighty way. I am learning to focus on what is important and getting rid of a the negative things that are trying to bring me down. I am most appreciative to the people who continually support me in either actions of supporting the music or by your encouraging words. I will keep you posted as there are many options being presented at this time. I have a photo shoot with my great friend Gary Box coming up in February and the album is being looked at and there is some talks of a record deal. There is nothing finalized but the Lord is moving. I give him all the praise as I come before him as lowly as possible. I pray the He increases as I decrease. The album will consist of 12 songs and the title has been named.. I am truly grateful for each of you and I pray your continued success in all that you do. I pray that everything is going well with each of you. Take care, stay encouraged & God bless you..
PS.. We are still pressing toward our Million spin goal on Reverbnation and as of today we are at 505,506 if you would like to support just click and enjoy the music.
"The same hand that stilled the seas stills your guilt. The same hand that cleansed the Temple cleanses your heart. The hand is the hand of God. The nail is the nail of God. And as the hands of Jesus opened for the nail, the doors of heaven opened for you." — Max Lucado
God Must Love Me More by Randy Kilgore
During a difficult recession, I organized a support group for fellow Christians to help them cope with unemployment. We provided resumé reviews, networking, and prayer support. One problem emerged: Whenever someone got a job, he or she almost never returned to the group to offer encouragement. That increased the loneliness and isolation of those left in the group.
Worse, though, were comments from those who had never experienced a job loss. They mirrored the accusations of Job’s friends in his suffering: “If you were pure and upright, surely now [God] would awake for you, and prosper [you]” (8:6). By chapter 12, Job is starting to express things in terms modern workers can understand. He says that he feels despised by those whose life is easy (v.5).
When things are going well for us, we may start to think that we who don’t have troubles are better somehow, or are more loved by God, than those who are struggling. We forget that the effects of this fallen world are indiscriminate.
We are all loved by the Lord and we all need Him—in good times and bad. The successes, abundance, and positions that God has given to us are tools to help us encourage others in their time of need.
Give us the humility, Lord, not to act like Job’s friends who accused him of sin because of his trials. Show us how to help those who are struggling so that we might give the kind of encouragement You have given us. Humility toward God makes us gentle toward others.
Perfect submission, all is at rest, I in my Savior am happy and blest; Watching and waiting, looking above, Filled with His goodness, lost in His love. —Crosby The wonder of it all— just to think that Jesus loves me!_ Our Daily Bread.. http://www.reverbnation.com/darrynzewalk
“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.” ― Henri J.M. Nouwen, The Road to Daybreak: A Spiritual Journey
“People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.” ― Mother Teresa
