What does Rockchild have in common with Five Finger Death Punch, Dethklok, and Digital Summer? We are all nominated for Best metal song at the Independent Music Awards! It is quite an honor that industry professionals acknowledge the hard work truly independent bands like ourselves strive to achieve on a daily basis. We live, sleep and breathe Rockchild and at the end of the day when everything boils down to the music, it is nice to know that others appreciate the effort and dedication.

Rockhild would like to formally introduce two new members to the band.
Ümit Sedgi – Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, Ümit came to the states in search of a rock band that would showcase his talent on Bass Guitar and could take his musical aspirations to the next level. After spending 3 years in New York without finding the right fit, he decided to give Los Angeles a shot and shortly discovered Rockchild. “When I heard these guys I was thinking, wow, there is a really good band out there that has their act together and has awesome songs.” After his audition, the band realized that not only was his playing fantastic, but his attitude, drive and his overall chemistry with the band made him a perfect fit for Rockchild.
Fry Ferrini – Coming to Los Angeles via Milano Italy, Fry was accepted and graduated from Musician’s Institute in Hollywood CA. He has been in a number of pro bands, toured extensively throughout the US and abroad, and his skill, talent and training shine when his impeccable timing and rhythm are hammered out on his kit. Currently he doubles as a secession musician and can be seen playing with a few other acts, “But Rockchild is my band and I can’t wait to show everybody what we are all about.”
Stu Gotz – It should be noted that Stu Gotz has switched from Bass to Guitar and his tone, lead playing and rhythm sense have completely filled in the band’s sound. Switching to his natural instrument, Stu’s guitar performance has helped elevate Rockchild to the next level.
