JD and the Longfellows album launch and Swinging across England Tour

I haven't done any sort of Longfellows blog for a long time and I think it is about time I did so, we have lots going on at the moment..

First, we had a great trip as a three piece to Bergues in Northern France for our first international Longfellows gig on Sunday 17th July. Although it rained for the England Invades Festival, we kept dry playing caf'e's around the square. Thanks to Sur le Docks for organising it all so well (apart from the rain)....

Then, another great time at our Swinging for England launch party at the Fox and Firkin in Lewisham on 23 July. Thanks for Harry Perry (bass), Nathan Persad (drums), James Boston (Keyboards) and Justin Ashworth (guitar) for joining us on stage. The trouble is none of the CDs arrived in time - technical difficulties as usual. They will be with us soon - by the way thanks to Kooba for being the first radio station to play Swinging for England.

Finally, we can announce some dates of our Swinging across England tour - more to be announced. We will have albums............
