Tribal Cafe (L.A.)

Soon as i land in Charlotte (N.C.) for the connecting flight to L.A. I feel a wave of positive energy hit me! In that moment i was waling behind this funny (New Jersey) loud mouth muscle head guy (Frankie) & his best friend (Mike)! turns out there where sitting infront of me on the flight to L.A. As i'm putting my Acoustic guitar in the over head storge on the plane Frankie aske me "HEY BRO, jews gonna give us a show on the on the way to L.A.?!" LOL. i thought about it but knew the flight attendants wouldn't let that happen. i told him. "it depends on what people want to hear". he says, "it's not what we want to hear, it's what you want us to hear". as i sit down in my seat i knew this was going to be an interesting flight. LOL. 2 Hours into the flight I made friends (Rule Breakers! inside joke) with 5 people Dionne, Frank, Mike, & i forgot the other 2 ladies (which is sad because they where sitting beside me 1 on the left 1 on the right LOL). We all keep each other entertained on the plane especially Frankie! The Convo's we shared consist of Political views, life, positivity, leadership in our comunities, moral goals, & the fact that things in life happens for a reason. As we land at the LAX airport we exchanged numbers & said good by (of couse we all took pictures together & i made sure to give my new friends a copy of my album). On the way to my hotel i spark a conversation w/ Pam, a mother of 2 daughters, which are really into music & production as well. We exchaned number's & e-mails. i told her to call me anytime & i will be glad to help her daughters learn production software etc. Finally, i get to the hotel (Which was slamming!!!) Westin Hotels always have good service & nice architecture buildings. the one i said at is located in dowtown L.A. 5 min's from the venue Tribal Cafe (which is where i was playing at that weekend.) I call Josh the owner of Tibal & told him i was comming through to check out the spot. he told me to bring my guitar if i wanted to play for his lunch croud. Of course i did. on my walk there (30min walk, or 5min drive) i take in the great amount of color's! There's art on every corner & street huge murals of clasic historic people. Obama was one of the main murals i counted 5 of them on the way there alone! once i arive at Tribal Josh had the PA system set up waitin for me LOL i felt really welcomed. i performed my set, met 4 more new friends one of them is a Son Jarocho performer by the name of Daniel (The most friendliest person in all of L.A. he kinda look's like Adam Sanlar. LOL anyway i asked him to perform (which was awsome!) we talked, exchaned info, Etc... The first show lead to 3 more. A total of 4 show's all because of the positive energy! If It wasn't for my new friends & the positive energy we all shared NON of this would have happend! SO, I want to thank all my friends who came out the the Tribal Cafe show in L.A. you ALL made my first trip to L.A. a trip i'll never forget! thanks to you all, -Christian M.-
