The uplifting song '11:03' (Heaven), poses the question ' Do you believe in heaven? What’s in the name? Corso having had nearly a two year break from the world of music, dreamt: “. …Of a house filled with people, it seemed that they were celebrating. I came across a room and the door was open, there was an extremely tall man that I just knew was an angel. He looked at me then turned the other way and wrote on a board, then picked up the board and showed it to me. It said 11:03..” "I am usually a pretty private person when it comes to my beliefs, I wanted to emerge and show who I am in this song and what I believe in." Corso says, “I think there are angels around us giving us hints and pushing us into the direction that we are supposed to go." The singer-songwriter from the Western Suburbs of Melbourne is fired up to release the new album with a completely new sound and some amazing collaborations. BRITISH rock star Leo Sayer and Rob Farnham (son of John) are among big names in the music industry set to perform in Williamstown next weekend.
Farnham will join dual-ARIA award winner Monique Brumby and Sunshine singer Daniela Corso in a ground-breaking acoustic concert at the Williamstown RSL next Friday night, August 10. The event will raise money to help youth worker Les Twentyman and his team continue their work with street kids and disadvantaged families in the West.
And on Saturday night, August 11, Leo Sayer will headline a sell-out Last Night of the Proms concert at the Williamstown Town Hall. Sayer, who has settled in Australia, will perform on a bill that includes the Western Region Concert Band, Rosa McCarty, SingWest and a special guest artist.
Williamstown's Doug Heywood (Carols By Candlelight) will conduct the concert band in the town hall concert.
Sunshine singer Daniela Corso persuaded Farnham, who has been working and recording in the United States, and Tasmanian-born Brumby to perform in the RSL show to raise money for the 20th Man Fund, which supports youth and needy families in the West.
“It will be an honour to share the stage with two talents like Monique Brumby and Rob Farnham to support youth and struggling families in the West,” said Corso, who will be accompanied by guitarist George Chris, with whom she has co-written many of her songs.
Corso, who grew up in Albion, was a finalist in the recent musicoz awards for unsigned artists.
All three artists performing at the RSL will perform original numbers from their recent releases.
The Williamstown RSL live acoustic event has drawn support from the Way Out West blues and roots music club, which regularly hosts international and Australia rock and blues legends at the popular licensed club. Admission to the event will be $15, with doors open from 7pm For more information, or picture opportunities contact Ron Coleman, 0411 723 669, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
