Hi fellow music lovers, Pardon my incoherence in this update, as I've only slept 1 hour as of this posting.
Well, what can I say, I was pleasantly surprised with the Artist I backed. She was nervous, & stressed to say the least, but, after a "motivational" speach, from yours truly, not to mention the impromtu rehearsal in the parking lot (25 minutes before showtime) She ROCKED!!! This Artist composes her own material, & performs like a pro. I take back my previous statements, & freely admit, I sold this Artist short. Let this be a lesson that I'm fully aware of , but do forget because of my jaded years in the Industry. The Lesson being, don't count someone out in a capricious manner, for the may rise to the calling once They're backed into a corner. She came out swinging & landed a knock out punch.
Can we say Kool MoDee ???
I'm glad I got to work with this Artist, despite of all of the hardships I endured to do so. I too having to confront the less than optimum conditions, has also put me MILES AHEAD, into returning back to my craft that I so need, for my spiritual equilibrium, & sanity !!!
Finally, I also want to Thank all of the well wishers that have contacted me, & letting me know of their support, & in some cases, admiration for my efforts.
I'll do my best to be worthy of your support, & respect, that you all have afforded me.
