Spring/Summer Shaping Up

Happy Friday y'all!

Things are starting to shape up for our Spring and Summer Schedule. We've got a lot of shows lined up from the east cost all the way to the Rockies! As of right now, we're confirmed in North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, New York, Illinois, Iowa and Montana. Plus, there are still a lot of other things in the works.

We're also still working on our next album in between weekend shows. In the last few weeks we've written two more songs that will be featured on the next album.

The first, "Six Strings and You", is an upbeat tune about listening to your heart despite all the free advice that so many feel driven to offer. Along with powerful vocals from Justin, it features some sweet fiddle fills by Robert and some pretty cool bass work too.

The second is "O Black Crow" which has an old time feel to it and features Billy, our drummer, on lead vocals. I picked up the Dobro for this one to add to the feel of yesteryear.

We've starting incorporating the new songs in our live sets, so be sure to mark your calendars to attend one of our upcoming shows.

Well, may the luck of the Irish be with you tomorrow as you all celebrate St. Patrick's Day in your own way. We'll be living it up with green beer and live hillbilly tunes at the Carolina Ale House in Greenville, NC. If you're not too far, be sure to make it.

New Album Under Way

Hi folks! I wanted to let ya know that we have officially begun recording our next album! We've started back our recording sessions in our studio and hope to have a finished product out by the end of summer. We are not sure on the title yet, but you can expect to see tracks like Pistol Packin' Rebel, Hog Killin' Time and Color of Rust.

We're also excited about releasing a special 7-inch vinyl recording of our session at the legenday Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee! It will feature the first release of Hog Killin' Time and our special take on Folsom Prison Blues. It is almost ready for pressing. Pretty much the only thing we're waiting on is good weather for a photoshoot for the album. We are also planning on including a bonus item with the 7-inch, so be sure to keep on the look out for it.

Well folks, that's all for now. Keep coming back for updates and info. Keep listening to and sharing Carolina Still with all your social circles! We truly appreciate and survive on your support!
