An undying passion for this thing called music. So much of me seems to be consumed into this relationship that sometimes proves to be very jealous. She has my heart, engaged with her around the age of 15, got married at 21, and she proves over and over again she will be the only thing I will end up with in the end. Love and Hate, satisfaction yet confusion. Can I ever let go of you Hip Hop? I think we'll end up being buried in the same casket, you and me. Hip Hop I love you. I'll never leave you.

I firmly believe that if you have to take two steps backwards to enable you to jump two steps forward then do it. There is nothing wrong with making mistakes and starting over. Start over until you get it right. Whatever it is that you are facing is your obstacle. It is your task to move beyond your obstacle to reach your goals. Everyone is not able to overcome their obstacles on the first try. Not many people can, so don’t be discouraged if you feel weak some days like you can’t move on. Before you throw in the towel; take a minute to gather yourself, think about what you’ve tried to do, why it didn’t make sense, and go for it again. Everyday is a new beginning to try again and succeed at whatever it is you’re trying to achieve or overcome. You are a work in progress! No one said that taking control of your life and your emotions would be easy. Once you make the decision to take control you become a “work in progress.” That is an amazing place to be because you can become whomever and whatever you want to be. Why not work on being the best “you” that you can be? Don’t expect to be a strong, forceful individual overnight. Genuine progress takes time and you have the rest of your life to complete your goals

Everday is a new beginning
