Hi Everyone: I'm pleased to finally let you know that "A NOT Ordinary Christmas" is now available to purchase from our Reverbnation Store in CD Format. WooHoo! It seems a long time coming but I'm very excited. It will also be available soon in select CD Warehouse stores and others which I'll keep you posted on. If you want the downloadable album or ringtones you can buy from Reverbnation as well. It will be available within a few weeks in 38 on-lines stores around the world. You can buy from this link TODAY: http://www.reverbnation.com/anotordinarychristmas For those who missed my original story about this album, My on-line collaborators and I started this project in mid June so it's taken us five months to fully complete this album through the two on-line studios of Kompoz and MusiciansCollaboration. The album consists of 12 original songs written by me and includes 38 musicians, singers, arrangers, producers and mixers from ten countries: Canada, USA, Sweden, Belgium, Scotland, England, Germany, France, Italy, and South Africa. Each song is like opening a present as you don't know exactly what you'll find. We've got a whole range of genres and a great fusion of them as well. And, none of us have ever met face to face. We've been getting really good reviews so far and for those who have heard it, one of their favorites things to figure out is to try and guess what country each of the players comes from based on their vocal accent or their influences. Can you guess what country the sultry jazzy vocals come from or the Europop riffs or the wacky sideways view of life. For those who want to learn a little bit more about me, you can listen to my latest interview on "Indie On Air" at this link: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieonair/2010/11/12/indie-on-air-casia Take care. I hope you like our album enough to buy it and give it a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. SEASONS GREETINGS AND ALL THAT ......Casia xx
“Highway Of Heroes” – Canada’s Patriotic Highway …runs from the Canadian Forces Base in Trenton to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is often lined with veterans and civilians waving flags as the bodies of Canadian Soldiers killed in Afghanistan make their way home during repatriation…a haunting and emotional journey that will bring you to tears. Thanks to all my international friends and collaborators for thinking of us during Rememberance Day on November 11th. This song is currently in the mix and NOT finished but I wanted to share it with you anyways: http://www.indiemusicworks.com/casia HIGHWAY OF HEROES Casia – Lyrics (Ottawa, Canada) Vocals – Steve McAndrew (Ireland) Music – Juhani Nahkala (Sweden) (Intro) I close my eyes As I face the storm The truth of war Is we never learn As I go gently into this night I wonder will my soul survive (Chorus) I’m just a toy soldier On a road of tears Too young to die Too young to say good-bye On this Highway of Heroes (V1) The blood felt too warm As it ran from my veins As I thought of you It made me call out your name The storm rattled on With sky turning white You were my angel With the brightest of eyes Now I’m not a man Who is made out of wood So when I break You know I’m gone for good If I could change Where all the graves lie They’d be in paradise At the throw of a dice (Chorus) I’m just a toy soldier On a road of tears Too young to die Too young to say good-bye On this Highway of Heroes Highway of Heroes Solo (Outro – Pending – to be added) I need to know what I’ve died for What have I cried for Was everything I did worthwhile To end up on this heroes mile (Chorus) I’m just a toy soldier On a road of tears Too young to die I’m just a toy soldier On a road of tears Too young to die I’m just too young to say good-bye On this highway of heroes Just a …Highway of Heroes Just a …Highway of Heroes Just a …Highway of Heroes

For the last sixty days, 40 of some of the most talented indie artists (musicians, singers, lyricists, song-writers and mixers) from around the world have quietly and secretly gathered together to produce “A NOT Ordinary Christmas” album. Just entering the mastering stage, their soundmixer informs me this album will be ready for distribution in late September, early October for this year’s rush of Christmas song fanatics. Every year 1,000 of Christmas song lovers are on the search for the best of the best in Christmas songs always looking for something new to satisfy their urge to get into the spirit. With this in mind, this group of artists put their thinking caps on and let the creative juices flow, coming up with a smorgasbord of over sixty minutes of original music and lyrics to satisfy even the pickiest of audiences. You are sure to find something on this album to make you smile, tap along and even make you feel a little bit guilty this season to reach into your pockets to support children in need around the world. “It’s been a bit odd writing and playing Christmas songs all summer, but it’s been a blast hanging out with artists I had never met or worked with before. I’d do it again in a Christmas minute” an anonymous musician. I promised I wouldn’t give away their hiding spot quite yet or the artists involved but if you see a bunch of musicians lurking around singing Christmas songs you’ve never heard before…you’ve probably found them. I will give you a hint that they come from Germany, Italy, Scotland, England, France, South Africa, Australia, Canada, USA, Belgium and Sweden. So not only is this album full of new songs you’ve never heard of before, imagine the influences each of these artists from different countries brings to the table, so to speak…yummy! Stay tuned … I’ll keep you posted on what’s happening. If you do find them, tell them I said “hi” and maybe you’ll get a free album. Well, they said, I could give away five free albums anyways. A portion of the proceeds will be going to a children’s charity so we certainly wouldn’t want to take anything away from the children this Christmas, would we. Later….

Hi: Check out my latest download. A contemplative tune on what love would be like if I was your anti-hero. Very short, 2.5 minutes. Anti-Hero - Mr. Zero by Casia Anti-Hero, Mr. Zero If we lived in an anti-world Would I be the anti-hero To your Mr. Zero (V1) Our love will be undefined You’d have no panty lines Underneath your clothes We could have unbridled passion In every style and fashion I’d be unaccountable Unbuttoning every inch of your love (Chorus) Anti-Hero, Mr. Zero If we lived in an anti-world Would I be the anti-hero To your Mr. Zero (V2) Would we struggle against the tide On a never-ending ride Sailing over the edge Would you be untouchable Unshapely and unbearable I’d be so unappealing Unconscious from drinking too much beer (Chorus) Anti-Hero, Mr. Zero If we lived in an anti-world Would I be the anti-hero To your Mr. Zero (Bridge) Everything that matters Would be an anti-matter Our love will be annihilated (Outro) If we lived in an anti-world In an anti-world In an anti-world
