Jah Vinci making musical strides

Jahvinci Former Gaza artiste Jah Vinci is working hard at building his own brand and establishing his own distinctive musical identity in the aftermath of leaving the Portmore Empire.

The artiste is pleased with the growth of his own brand/label - Out Clear Movement -a fusion with Frenz 4 Real and Tripledose Production.

"Right now, I have a solid marketing and booking team, and we are making a big push this summer to move the brand forward. There have been some encouraging signs, and I am going to use my next big public performance as a springboard to launch out in a big way," Jah Vinci said.

Jah Vinci has ignited the dancehall/reggae scene with hits such as Watch Your Friends, Mama Love, In My Life, Remedy and Wipe Those Tears.

Earlier this year, he released his mix CD Braawling hosted by DJ Metro to rave reviews from dancehall insiders. The mix highlighted a different aspect of Jah Vinci's versatility, with tracks: Rich Two Time, Weh Mi A Guh Duh which features IQ, and Let's Rock featuring Rapper Scantana.

In recent months, he has done several local performances, especially in Montego Bay where he has a huge fan base. Internationally, he has performed on shows such as Bermuda Link Up, and he recently did a gig in Calgary, Canada.

The Watch Your Friends singer has upcoming shows in Suriname after which he will head to Abako, Barbados.

He will also head to Africa for the first time when he graces the stage at Gambia in December.

"The demand for Jah Vinci is building, and I have taken time out to make great reggae tracks that can stand the test of time. I shot a video for Mama Don't Cry recently which I will be releasing soon," he said.

Jah Vinci is also in the process of putting final touches to his new album entitled In My Life.

"People can look out for my new album which a guh release soon to the streets. Also, mi jus waan di fans dem fi know sey dis is not going to be a disappointment. My songs are a way fi me reach out to di people dem, a dem mi do music fah, suh a dem mi haffi show mi appreciation and thanks for the love and support".

Later this year, he will release another mix CD dubbed The Documentary by DJ Metro, and he plans to simultaneously release the mix and a video for Mama Don't Cry at his next public performance.

Jah Vinci says he has 2013 remedy

Jah Vinci - File Renowned artiste Jah Vinci has become a force to be reckoned with.

Since he stamped an indelible mark on the dancehall/reggae scene with hits such as Watch Your Friends, Mama Love, In My Life, Remedy and Wipe Those Tears, the artiste has definitely charted the waters of the competitive music industry and has been creating waves both locally and internationally, with new singles: Never Too Late (Happilos Entertainment), Drop A Night (Tripledose Productions) and All I Need (Frenz 4 Real production). Jah Vinci is defiantly raising the musical bar for 2013.

In a release to media, the artiste spoke about some of his accomplishments in 2012, which include the release of his mix CD Braawling hosted by DJ Metro. The mix highlighted a different aspect of Jah Vinci's versatility, with tracks: Rich Two Time, Weh Mi A Guh Duh which features IQ, and Let's Rock featuring Rapper Scantana. He also spoke of his successful European tour with performances in countries such as Berlin, Germany and Italy.

Not only is the artiste focused on recording and touring, but he has also thrown his hat into forming his own brand/ label - Out Clear Movement - a fusion with Frenz 4 Real and Tripledose Production.

Largest festivals

The artiste is now ready for the new year. His team is in dialogue with several promoters for upcoming stage shows locally and abroad. He has already been booked for one of the largest festivals in Europe (Jam Jam) for August 2013.

Jamaica National Children's Home charity a success

G-Whizz performing for the kids. - Photos by Phillip Lynch Jr The Jamaica National Children's Home opened up its doors on Saturday, December 17 and helped to spread the Christmas cheer, with artistes: G-Whizz, Chozenn, Navino, Charly Black, Thugsy Malone, IQ, Anna and a slew of other artistes, who entertained the children.

The guests were welcomed by the children with a line-up of songs, drums and dance. The artistes then entertained the smiling faces.

The first performance was by G-Whizz, and the children danced and sang along to his lyrics. Thugsy Malone followed, and he sang his Christmas rendition of HolidayBreeze while the children jumped and danced with glee. Chozenn, Anna and IQ spread the holiday cheer with their latest track, This Christmas. Other performances came from the likes of Navino and Charly Black.

The children were then treated to toys, clothing items and a sweet treat.

The Staff of Jamaica National Children's Home, were touched by the giving of time and love from the artistes.

Publicist Anneika Campbell and Triple Dose Productions, now look forward to staging yet another charity event for 2012. "I love to see when people are happy, that touches my heart more than anything," she said.
