Domestic violence results in physical injury, psychological trauma, and sometimes death."

Counterculture 2010

Trying to wrap my mind around the simple question, “How did we get here?” I don’t want to get political or make a statement. I really just want people to think. As we look back at the 60’s to early 70’s, there was an awareness. People later defined the movement as the counterculture of the time. Should we be experiencing something like that now? Are we going through something similar? I don’t have the answers but there are some interesting similarities. One thing I am sure of; we are at war. Take a moment today to think of all of the men and women who have served our country. As I think of the Peace Symbol we use for our band, a symbol that is so significantly identified with the counterculture movement of the 60's, I am greatful to know that something has changed. If there is a counterculture movement going on now, the servicemen and woman will be honored regardless of policy. With Peace, Love and Hope...and thanks to our Veterans.

Manic Depression

Bipolar Disorder...make love to music. Make love through music. A frustrating mess. I wish I could reach out and...reach out and...caress. Pretty cool, if you just close your eyes and float on clouds that overflow like cotton candy. I think I will upload our cover of Manic Depression in the next few days. Stay strong, stay involved, and love.

Bubble Puppy

Remember the hit Hot Smoke and Sassafras? Done by the "Most Feared Opening Act in Rock&Roll History" according to the Bubble Puppy web site. I thought I knew the story...learn the true tale: http://www.bubblepuppy.com/

Sleepy Time Time

Listening to Cream's Sleepy Time Time as I write this. Working on a couple of new tunes last night with the boys. Greg said, "man you gotta hear this". It has always been one of his favorite songs. Great groove, great bass...give it a listen if you have not heard it in a while. I pulled it up on youtube. Hey - by the way, thanks to everybody for jumpin' on board. PLH - Enut.
