Headed to Florida today!

What a hectic last couple weeks. Pause to take a breath! We are headed to West Palm Beach today. Infact we leave in 2 hours for the airport. Big SurfRider Foundation event going on, which we will be headlining. So much cool shit going on now a days. Everything we have worked for is finally coming to fruition. Tbird is back with the band full time, which is something to be stoked about all on its own but then you throw in the fact that the album is just about finished up and that we have so many bad ass shows coming up, not to mention all the cool merch we have and this super long run on sentance i just typed. I mean damn, this is what its all about. Today will mark the first time Mike has ever been on a plane. It will also be the furthest to date that we have traveled to play. Jake the boy Glover will be taking the journey with us down to Florida to get into some trouble with your boys. Well, time to do one last check to make sure we have all our equipment. Stay up on us! - Cheezy and the Crackers, everywhere and all the time

We are headed to Forida to HEADLINE International Surfing Day 2010!!

Hola Crackheads! We are proud to say we are headed to Florida for International Surfing Day on Sunday June the 20th. Because of the recent disaster in the Gulf, we have hooked up with The Surfrider Foundation and are headlining the West Palm Beach chapter of International Surfing Day. The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches. Our oceans are as important as they are cool so we thought it was a no brainer to donate ourselves for a day of music and fun. International Surfing Day is a huge event and the fact we have to opportunity to not only play but to play our part in the recovery efforts to restore our oceans makes this such an important trip for us. If you live on the lower east coast or southern parts of Florida please stop out and see us on June 20th at Jensen Beach. Make sure to check us out online on all your favorite sites; Facebook, Twitter, ReverbNation, CD BAby, YouTube, Myspace, PureVolume and more...not to mention songs and albums available for purchase online. -Big em ups and bless yo self! Cheezy and the Crackers "Don't Talk About it, Be About It" album drops soon! NEW SHIRTS AND MERCH IN STOCK and plenty more to come!

Still in the studio!

So we have been recording for quite some time. The end is near. However not near enough...just kidding! This is my first time actually recording at a studio professionally. With that said I wasn't expecting it to take this long but the end result will be kick ass none the less. We have just a bit of cleaning up to do on some of the backing vocals and then the final stages will be underway. It has taken more than time then we would have liked but sometimes it happens. I feel stoked about the material and the sounds we were able to capture. We have put quite a bit of money into this project and we are on a quest to make sure it is as near awesome as it can be. You the fans are the reason we do this and since life is what it is the least we can do is give the people some quality shit to get down to. "Don't talk about it...Be about it!" will be done soon. Consider it our RSVP to your party, cuz we can't wait to get it in with you. - One love, Albert

First off we want to THANK EVERYONE OF OUR FANS,FRIENDS ,FAMILY and HATERS..You guys FUCKING RULE. Without you guys we wouldn't have made it even this far. Now as some of you may or may not know,we are currently recording our Debut Record "Don't talk about it...Be about it!!!" I say DEBUT because with Tbird and Albert involved in the writing process as well now and the addition of DJ Barely Sober we are a Whole new band than the original line up was. We love the older songs and still play them live a lot. Put this in you Pipe and smoke it!!! was our demo, the backbone songs that got us recognition in our home area and got us a lot of gigs and gained a good portion of our fans. Over the past three months we have given out and sold about 600 demo samplers and have gotten a shit load of good feed back and gained a ton of new FANS.If you haven't gotten one yet message us and we'll try to get you one also look for them @ shows and your local malls or high schools there will be 300 more circulating around soon. Some of those songs are being re-recorded for the New record along with 7 others you may or may not of heard at shows. We have some video footage of Tbird and Albert in the Studio we are going to post soon and the rest of the guys as it unfolds. EUROPE,being one of the songs going on the new record has been getting radio play in the U.K. and beginning this week on the Rick and Ron show on 92.1fm and grindhouse-radio.com between 11pm-1am fridays. Europe has also been featured in the new indie movie SORROW HILL coming out world wide March 13th presale available for the movie @ Grindhouse-pictures.com.
