Summer Roadtrip 2011 Posted on June 11, 2011 by Mary Sarah in Blog Summer Roadtrip 2011
Hey guys, coming to you from the road! Just finished the first part of our trip in Kansas City, Missouri with my cousins!
On the way up we experienced a little breaking and entering lol! Our car window was smashed in! isn’t that just crazyyyyy? They only took tennis rackets and thank God they didn’t take my taylor guitar!
It happened to be National Donut Day so while we were waiting to fix the car we got FREE donuts at Krispy Creme! They greeted us with hot donuts dripping in icing! So Yummy!
The saddest part of our trip was being able to go through Joplin, MO. Seeing first hand what the tornado did made us cry. Look at this amazing picture of this cross left standing after it all. Please pray!
In Kansas City we hit up the new Schlitterbahn, watched my youngest cousins, Max and Luke, play some little league baseball, and my oldest cousin, Jake, threw a graduation party because he will be going to Baker University next year! I love hanging out with my cousins especially Macie because we are the closest in age! It’s crazy to be with my mom and my aunt Christy because they look and talk like twins! lol. Now I am headed to Nashville to do a little work on my new project and then off to Florida to see my grandparents! CMA Fest is here this week so it’s going to be a great week in Nashville. I will keep you updated on everything that’s going on! Love y’all!
Peace, Love, and Music!
Thanks to the WTBQ Radio folks for playing my song and the interview!
Hugz to Miss Shawna for helping!
