Post-gig Wrapup - Thanks Books & Co!

Wee-haw! We just finished our first gig with our new big-bottomed horn section, including Sarah Politz on trombone and Jim Berger on euphonium and trombone.

This was our first time playing at Books & Co in Hamden, and from what I understand, their first time hosting a band with a drumset! We are able to rock out without blowing any eardrums, and we had a blast. Tim went bananas during our version of "Monkey Man" (Get it? Bananas? Monkey Man? Is this thing on?) and everyone had a blast. It was great seeing all our old friends there along with some new friends!

We recorded it, and the sound quality is *excellent* (apparently bookshelves are great sound dispersers when recording - what better place to record a show then a bookstore then?), so I'm going to whip off some mp3s today. Stay tuned!!
