Neuroblastoma Awareness Fundraiser - Feb 27th Finnegan's Irish Pub

All You Need is Love Benefit for Neuroblastoma February 27th at Finnegan's Irish Pub Ashburn, Va.

44050 Ashburn Shopping Plaza Ashburn, VA 20147-7915 (703) 723-5885

From the Band Of Parents Website

Neuroblastoma is a childhood cancer of the sympathetic nervous system, affecting approximately 650 children in the U.S. every year. It is the second most common solid tumor in infants. Most children are diagnosed by 2.5 years of age. Up to sixty percent of them have high risk disease that has metastasized (spread to other parts of the body) by the time they are diagnosed. Survival is dependent on age and disease stage: children diagnosed before the age of 18 months have a high survival rate, but high risk children diagnosed before age 5 have about a 30 percent chance of growing up. For children over age 5, teens, and adults, the prognosis is very poor.

This will be a night of support and fun but mostly music! We will be featuring Abby Miller and friends beginning at 7pm. Spellbound with share the stage with our friends Lightfuse Getaway beginning around 8:30. We'll have raffle drawings for fabulous gift certificates from the generous merchants in and around the Fairfax/Loudoun county areas.

There will also information about Neuroblastoma and how you can help. The Band of Parents is an organization that supports those who are affected most, the children and families of Neuroblastoma through the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center where Taylor Love receives her treatments.

Oh what's that? What can YOU do to help you ask?

I am SO glad you asked!! YOU can help by coming out and spending some money for a worthy cause on February 27th! There is no cover for this event and all of the entertainment has been donated. We are asking you to make a donation to help give neuroblastoma a kick in the pants!

In return we'll all dance and sing and have a grand old time with some fabulous musicians and our hosts, Finnegan's Irish Pub. What better way to celebrate February, the month of Love?!!

All proceeds for this event will go to benefit Taylor Love and the Band Of Parents Organization which supports the research and treatment facilities at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

You will meet these extraordinary children as well as learn more about Neuroblastoma from representatives of the Band of Parents Organization. You can write a "Love Note" for Taylor, buy a raffle ticket to win a fabulous prize and make a tax deductible donation to the Band Of Parents.

If you can not make it out on the 27th, you can still help!! Just go to the BandOfParents.org website and click on the link to donate. You can make a tax deductible donation that will go to help families as well as research through the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
