Recording artist LeAnn Rimes presented the Grand Prize of $100,000 to Jaclyn North at the conclusion of a hotly contested competition. She was chosen over four other contestants: Carin Mari, KBVC, Salida CO; Greg Scudder, KNTY, Sacramento, CA; Kendall Phillips, WFMS, Indianapolis, IN; and Reggie Shaw, KRGI, Grand Island, NE by a panel of country music experts including: Brian Mansfield, music journalist for USA Today; BJ Hill, Senior Director of A&R for Warner/Chappell Music; Lisa Ramsey-Perkins, Senior Director of A&R for Sony Music Nashville; John Ozier, Director of A&R for Curb Records; and Rod Essig, agent from Creative Artists Agency.

Nashville, Tennessee (December 7, 2010) – Jaclyn North, the South Arkansas State Winner, walked away with the Southeast Regional Title, as well as an all-expense paid trip to the National Final of the 29th Annual Colgate Country Showdown in Nashville, Tennessee on January 13, 2011. ChristmasVille in Rock Hill, South Carolina hosted the event and showcased 8 other acts, who won their local and state competitions. They were: Jason Todd Herring- North/South Carolina (WRHI, Ft. Mill), Ashley McBryde- Tennessee (WKBQ, Covington), Rikki Jo- Kentucky (WKDP, Corbin), McKayla Reese- Georgia (WGOG, Walhalla, SC), Amy Greenlee- Mississippi (WBYP, Yazoo), Ariel Jade- Gulf Coast (WBKN, Brookhaven), Mark Burke- Florida (WOKC, Okeechobee), and Larry Lee Cheshire-North Arkansas (KOKC, Searcy).
Before advancing to the state level, Jaclyn North won her local competition representing KHOZ in Harrison.
