Salvador Dali

I’m a fan of art in all forms & this is just 1 example of how beautiful it can be. Salvador Dalí creates works of Surrealism—strange, dream-like imagery. Visit his Artsy.net page 4 more info about Salvador & to view more of his work: http://bit.ly/1GR55gm

Happy Birthday to my mother!

Today is my mother's 75th birthday! Amparo Jurado vda Reymundo de Hinson. Amparo Jdr Hinson She is the one I look to, she is the true example of love, strength, family, elegance, diplomacy, feminism, femininity, intelligence and compassion. She finds a way even when she is right to be kind first. She convinced my father to move to the U.S for a better life (as we like to say) with 5 young children, 3 jobs and 4 dollars. She and my father taught me to work well with others, but always work for myself and do what I love. She became an executive in the hotel industry (36 yrs) in a time when women, nor Mexicans were not often if ever executives. I owe her everything for her mentoring, her work ethic and her sacrifices so that I could have the education and opportunities to become the artist and the woman that I am today. I love you Mother.
