Writing Songs and Making Movies

What an exciting time it is. Three months into the new year...Q1 is almost over, and I've been very involved in my writing and acting. In fact I'm now preparing for the Tin Pan South show I was invited to perform on with Round Leader Wood Newton and hit songwriters Casey Kelly and Todd Cerney. This year I have a new song...I actually have a few, but one of them I feel very close to and I'm going to sing it at the show on Tuesday night. I wrote it with Rock Star, Robin Ruddy, who has recently returned from a couple of years on the road with Rod Stewart. She'll be a the show performing it with me...may the heavens smile upon us and feed us with all the current rewrites!!! Anyway, I've been very engaged in the business of writing, as well as my first love, acting. Two weeks ago I shot my scenes for a new indie film called "The New True Charlie Wu" and I can't wait to see how it all comes out [there's magic in the editing, I've learned.] It was a family project since Casey wrote a bunch of the music for the project around the libretto by Bob Pondillo (he wrote and directed me in "My Name Is Wallace"). Check out this video link to get just a glimmer of what's to come! Hey if you want to see more videos and how you can participate in "Charlie Wu" go to http://youandcharliewu.com/ Work, work, work...I'm working on it all and I'm making progress, whatever that means. Here's to creative energy and movement!!!! xxoo L
