Our CD is expected to be delivered tomorrow! Ordering information to be announced.
Great rehearsal today. Worked out another couple of new ideas which actually sounded like something once we laid them down. First album is barely out of the can and we have 4 or 5 new groovelets to cook.
The cd production is in its final stage. Disc is mastered and the graphics for the cd and wallet are completed. Production for the masses ensues!
First day back to rehearsal since the studio sessions. Wrote four new tunes and listened to the newly revised master, and agreed, this is the one.
The Dubious Capture is looking for a keyboard player so we can take this show on the road.
Our CD has just come back from Legendary Sound Design fully mastered and ready to go. We are currently awaiting the arrival of our original cover art drawn by none other than Dennis Dettloff of Alpena, Michigan. Once that arrives we'll get that baby scanned and packaged up with the rest of our material for Discmakers; who will be doing our replication and packaging. Once Discmakers has our schtoof, it will take them about 10 days to turn around our product. We plan on making our disc available through CDBaby & Amazon, plus whatever other outlets we can convince to take us on.
On another note, we are currently auditioning keyboard players for our live performances. As you might know, Fred played keys on the recording as well as bass. And try as he might, he can't play them both at once, and sequencing isn't an option due to our propensity for improvisation while playing live.
That's it for now, but certainly not for later.
