Vintage Dave Mason By Vic Z from St. Louis, MO on 9/13/2008 Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Sound Dave Mason has been sorely unappreciated as an artist. This was a unique opportunity to see him in the later stage of his long career. Though I would like to have seen him play for about another 30 minutes, I heard most of my favorite Mason songs.

A Rock n Roll Hall of Famer and a Noble Cause!

A Rock n Roll Hall of Famer and a Noble Cause! John Niekrash founded Work Vessels For Veterans (WVFV), a foundation to assist returning U.S. military personnel looking to start their own business. John is a commercial lobsterman in Connecticut and donated his boat to a returning U.S. Marine last April, as he needed a bigger vessel. Thus began WVFV; the full story can be seen on his web site, www.workvesselsforvets.org Rock 'n roll legend Dave Mason is a good friend of John’s and is on his board of advisors along with Fox sports' Tony Siragusa. Dave Mason has helped raise money and awareness for WVFV thru some of his shows and is a very strong supporter of the men and women of our Military. In October Dave released a new CD, titled 26 Letters ~12 Notes. John says of the new Dave Mason release, “I ask you to listen to the new Dave Mason CD, and if you like it as everyone I've turned on to it has, get it. Terrific tunes and a story people love to hear about. Our Military heroes deserve our support and assistance and that's what WVFV provides. Thank you for your continued support and passing along the songs and the story.”
