If you like progressive rock or metal, funky grooves, with ethno or folklore elements, little blues feeling, post rock, modern rock, art rock, with a pinch of alternative rock, listen our songs from the new album where you can find a crossover of all the above mentioned styles. All the various styles which influenced the Steve Misik & Co. during the decade-long creating period form a rounded whole in the band's debut album which despite its diversity didn't loose its original rocker feeling. Several musicians and friends from all over Europe collaborating on the "Schizoemphatic" making the album even more special. We would like to dedicate it to the memory of Stefan Toth. The band doesn't like to label its genre. We grew up listening hard rock, metal bands but we've been influenced by funk, soul, blues, progressive rock & metal, art rock, alternative, classic rock, modern rock, nu metal, classical music or jazz, not to mention the latin rhythms and flamenco music. Our music is based on the concept of trying different genres, different imaginary worlds, different fantasies in every song but keeping our own face. In the lyrics we point out the civilization problems of the society and mental world of the human being.

SCHIZOEMPHATIC

We would like to present you our upcoming debut album SCHIZOEMPHATIC. We would like to know your opinions and observations. Let us know what do you think, which song fits best the album like a single?!

These are the songs on the album SCHIZOEMPHATIC: 1; Radio - Intro with the voice of the friend Stefan Toth making jokes in our rehearsal room back in those days, I've put it as if it was a radio program, because the intro has to evoke that somebody is searching on the radio waves on an old radio, because the second song has this topic. 2; My waves - Funk grooves with metal guitar riffs and melodic vocals, with some new experimental sounds as well. In memoriam Stefan Toth. 3; I'm here - In this song we mixed many styles which impressed us in various decades of our life, from childhood till today. When you will hear the complete track, you will understand what I am talking about. This song is with southern rock/nu metal, country and western grooves, rhythms and elements, and with some new experimental sounds as well. 4; May - Acoustic song with dark atmosphere, cajon rhythm, acoustic guitar and bass groove, voices, and a jazzy sax feeling. A collaboration with talented sax player Felicity, who put a jazzy feeling into it, and Francisco Jimenez enriched it with his flamenco feeling on Cajon. 5; Online - A song about the dependence on social networks and phone usage, with experimental electro and metallic samples. 6; Who cares? - Funky grooves, soul feelings meeting metal-rock dynamics in this song. 7; Shadows - Crossover of Metal and Flamenco music styles with some electro guitar synth elements, featuring Francisco Jimenez on Cajon & Palmas. 8; Clone - This hard-rock-funk song was the first we have finished and have promoted a little bit abroad. 9; Papluhy - A song about corruption, politics, with modern rock, metal sound and some ethnic elements and chants. The only song in the album in Slovakian language. Slovakian folklore instrument “fujara”, and Hungarian folklore instrument “doromb” was recorded in this song. 10; For you - Song with ethnic arranges (sitar, Tibetan monks chants, Gregorian chants, Iman chant, etc.) with a bit of art rock feeling, overarching between alternative and progressive elements.
