New Release from La Chichada

La Chichada! Hey Everybody, it's a rare two-fer email from Peterson Entertainment, Llc. Since this is a double announcement we figured you wouldn't mind getting two emails from us this month. Especially since it's all about NEW MUSIC! First and foremost, La Chichada has officially released it's debut single, "La Chichada Screams!" This is the first recorded material for La Chichada. The tune is a medium-tempo, Latin, rock song featuring percussion, screaming sax, Anthony Garcia's distinctive voice, dark lyrics, and a heavy groove. Musicians: Anthony Garcia - guitar/vocals, Noah Peterson -sax/percussion, Kenny Nutting - drums, Chris Lawson - percussion, Phillip Luna - bass/percussion. Second the band has officially signed with Peterson Entertainment, llc. We look forward to long and productive relationship with La Chichada. We are already in rehearsals for making the debut record, and scheduling shows while posting videos on youtube Click on the CD to buy a download! La Chichada Screams Webpage: La Chichada - visit our webpage! La Chichada is Anthony Garcia, Kenny Nutting, and Noah Peterson. This trio is frequently augmented with guest musicians. La Chichada plays dark and brooding, Latin rock featuring screaming saxophone, heavy grooves, quirky harmonies, and lyrics designed to be taken a myriad of ways. This is Latin infused art rock at it's best.

Hello Friends, Family and Fans! Once again it is time for your monthly entertainment update. If you no longer wish to receive these epistles of awesomeness, please hit the unsubscribe button or respond with an email! New News: 2015 is off to a serious and fast. My Youtube channel has 80 subscribers and growing with almost 550 videos. More being added every week although when the last loopfest is done, thigns will slow down some there. Shows are being booked, bands are in rehearsals and studios making new tunes for you to add to the soundtrack of your lives. Stop by the website: www.petersonentertainment.com, listen to music, see what's going on, watch some videos! Jean-Pierre and the Zydeco Angels made it through Mardis Gras week with a fun and intense schedule. Kinda felt like band camp was over after that week. But don't worry - for all you Austin dwellers, we'll be rocking Guero's this Saturday at 6:30pm. Come one and come all: Check out our videos here: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjiWJF83CBimrlc1MEBbaNaYDewBtOGX0 LoopFest: Videos are posted on my youtube channel, with SoCal being the last festival that still has videos being processed. The NW LoopFest Portland is returning to the Analog Theatre! Can't wait to get back there for two stages of fun. www.nwloopfest.com Check in periodically for updates and announcements. Still working on our Seattle location and will have an announcement for a special show in the coming months! Looks like there could be a new fest in Denver this year too. New, Old stuff: I've been going through my back catalog of music and putting cool videos together for the original tunes. I'll put these in the entertainer for you to enjoy. Here's the video playlist for Bump (Bump Videos on YouTube).

December Entertainer

New News: The website is getting pretty popular. Over 11,000 visitors a month for the last 3 months. My youtube channel is pushing over 100 views a day and y'all are streaming my music online EVERY day all around the world. THANK YOU for watching, listening, streaming, and buying! The guestbook page on the site is up and running - leave a comment! The 2014 U.S LoopFest season is officially closed. Which means it's video processing time. For those of you who missed it, and for those of you who want to do it all over again - videos are being posted EVERY DAY on my youtube channel and on Facebook. So far I've got most of the first night of Seattle done along with a few from Vegas and San Antonio. You'll want to keep up - that's about 50 videos already and I've barely even scratched the surface. (That makes 300 videos on the channel overall.) I've also got a photo album called 2014 LoopFest where you can see action photos, gear and performance pics on Facebook. One of the cool new features from the videos this year's fests is the “Tech Talk.” The performers briefly talk about their gear and/or looping. It’s pretty fun, funny, sometimes very helpful and informative, and sometimes quick and trite. There are currently seven videos in the Tech Talk playlist with more coming. The Please Help has finally released the physical CD for their debut CD and the CD release party was a smash! Packed house late, late on a Sunday night! Good times for everyone. Get your space-jam, love-songs today. I've got a quick little tour to Florida this Dec. If you're in Jacksonville come on out to Jazzland on the 26th! 8pm, $10 cover. Phillip Luna has an art show this Friday night - Dec 5th at the Utpoia Cafe in San Antonio. New art, new space. Come on out and see some cool stuff. 7:30pm. I have a few changes in my "band" activies. My beloved River Barons are going country. Well..country-ish. And that means no more sexy sax for them. But don't despair - I have two new projects! First is West Kings Highway (www.westkingshighway.com) This easy-listening group is smooth, pleasant, and fun. Featuring Johnny Carrera and "Sweet" Pete Mattison, we're reforming the group into a smooth-jazz/easy listening band that's more suitable for our ages and bedtimes. We have regular shows around town. Check our calendar on the website for dates. Second is Jean-Pierre and the Zydeco Angels. For those that have been following me for a long-time, y'all know I love me some Zydeco! This Austin-based band features Jean-Pierre Blanchard out of Lafayette, Louisana on accordion and vocals. I'm on rubboard and wail on a sax a little bit. It's down-home good time. Here's a few tunes from last Friday night in Austin: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DkH-vpViwA You can expect to be hearing a lot more about this group! Bon ton roulet! Merry Christmas y'all. I hope your holidays are safe and happy.

If you no longer wish to receive these goodies, simply click at the top or reply with “remove” in your subject line. New News! Springtime in the NW. Sure it's rainy, but not as much! The flowers are blooming, trees are blossoming, the sun pokes out here and there, the temperatures are up and things are green and beautiful. It works out nicely that I'm staying around our little corner: Seattle, Portland, Bellingham, Yakima, Eugene, Kenmore, Hillsboro and more. Check the show listings below for when you can catch me and my Solo Sax Sessions. As you know, I've been traveling around the country quite a bit playing all kinds of fun spots. Occasionally I put together shows with bands in other cites. Here's a clip from Houston, TX at a sweet little club in downtown. Portlander's should recognize the drummer, Rod Nightingale (used to play with Linda Hornbuckle). Kerry Mike is on bass and Melvin Johnson on Keys. Rod and Melvin play together in their church (sometimes I jam with them when I'm in Houston) and are way too much fun! I hope you enjoy the clip. I'll be playing with them when I'm in Houston again in September. Funky stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttAI0i3DLts Be on the look out for a new CD coming soon from Peterson Entertainment, llc. It's a sax and electric bass duo featuring myself and David Captein. Got some fun and groovy little tunes on it. I'll keep you posted for when and where you can get your copy. Solo Sax Sessions Last month I introduced you to my "Solo Sax Sessions." Using the "Solo Sax Sessions" I've put together a really fun and high energy K-6 school assembly program called "Imagine: Music." I've already debuted it in Salt Lake City, UT and hope to bring it to schools and libraries near you.
