Conscious Dub Album Release

Greetings everyone, the Conscious Dub album for 2014 has now been released in many stores on-line. Check out the I-Tunes and Amazon links and music (also new merchandise) provided on Reverbnation. After many years of songwriting on acoustic instruments, many songs and arrangements are now being produced with full instrumentation and a unified acoustic/electric sound. Studio production is falling into place and things are moving quickly into new territory with new instrumentation and innovation and as technology improves. Prior to this album very little technology of any sort was used as the main focus of the music is raw, original, acoustic, natural and soulful and was often played outside just as much as indoors. As music technology continues to improve it has given further options for creativity and higher quality studio production. Embracing new forms of Conscious music including forms of dub, down tempo, world, spiritual, and forms of electronic music. The first album is material based on acoustic/electric guitar as are many other unreleased songs. Additional compositions build on a multi-dimensional framework that bring the skills of multi-instrumentation to the forefront. Due to regular travel and work, a piano and keyboard were not always available, at times a drum set was available, percussion, and so on though those same instruments may not have been portable or feasible to travel with at times. Hand drums of various kinds were also essential in combination with the guitar as a basis for many songs. There have been many limitations in the past to producing music, especially the expense of professional studio engineering. However, patience and direction have fostered a great ingenuity in diversifying musical skill sets to make use of what equipment is available. Slowly integrating and building on subtle uses of technology as it is now vital for quality music production and the standard we have become used to. Conscious music is expanding and getting out to the people who are embracing change and transformation in the world.
