BLACK Music Director/Keyboardist
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Joshua Waldon (aka Black) has been involved in music his entire life. His introduction to music came from the church where he learned many instruments including drums, organ, keyboards, and saxophone. Since then, Black has become well versed in many genres of music from Rock to Soul; and everything in between. As a producer/musician/musical director, Black has been fortunate to have worked with a variety of different artists which has allowed him to embrace different styles of music. His appreciation for the performing arts has afforded him opportunities not only in the music industry, but in the form of play productions, film scoring, and even music education. Black currently performs regularly with artists/bands and travels extensively offering his expertise in music direction and performance. As a producer and musician, Black’s contribution to the music industry is a direct reflection of his passion for the arts and musical expression.
CANE Lead Vocal/Songwriter
Born in the small southern town Moss Point, MS, Cane recognized his musical talent at the age of 6. All through his school years Cane perfected his talent. In High school he fused singing and Hip-Hop together, which gave him his melodic rapping style. Cane received several awards for singing and composing, which allowed him to pursue his musical career in Atlanta. His first musical experience was with a group called "A.W.O.L", All walks of life. During this time A.W.O.L. opened for acts such as Three 6 Mafia, Drama, and Tag Team. In 2001, Cane was introduce to Muzik House where shortly after he became a member of "Nappy’s Joint". The Joint gave him the opportunity to perform with the Zac Brown Band, Griff of Public Enemy, and several other celebrity artist, which enhanced his musical knowledge and experience. In 2006, Cane continued his musical career in Springfield MO where he became part of Pearl Nation, a cover/original party band. In pursuit of his musical dream he decided to reconnect with Nappy’s Joint in Atlanta GA to bring his talent of “HIP–HOP, ROCK, AND SOUTHERN SOUL "!!
MASSIF Lead Vocal/Songwriter
Born in Wichita Falls, TX. Charles R. Hall Jr. aka Massif, took an interest in music at the young age of 5yrs. old. At age 19 he moved to Omaha, NE and formed the Hip-Hop group, TD-1. While performing in front of crowds at local venues, he realized his passion for being an artist. During this time, TD-1 won best rap group of the year at the Omaha Black Music Awards. At age 22, while working security at a local club, Massif was introduced to the style & rhythm of reggae music. He fell in love with the sound and infused reggae melodies into his Hip Hop songs. Massif is well diverse in music, blending sounds such as Hip-Hop, Reggae, Rock & Neo-Soul. Currently he is touring with country artist the Zac Brown Band as bodyguard/performer, bringing a touch of Hip-Hop culture to country music.
