FRESH is an enlightening documentary and a call to action. FRESH outlines the vicious cycle of our current food production methods, while also celebrating the farmers, thinkers, and business people across America who are reinventing our food system. I like this movie because it really shows how our current food system is not working while also showing what innovative people are doing to change it! I am learning how to garden and plan to grow my own vegetables, fruits, and herbs this year.
I highly recommend watching the movie Ghandi. The first time I watched this movie (years ago), I didn't realize that Ghandi was fighting political and economic oppression through self-sufficiency. I believe his message--taught through the way he lived his life--is just as powerful and timely now as it was during his lifetime. In many way, his message is even more relevant now. If you look and listen, you'll see that there's many social movements calling for self-sufficiency. Grow your own food. Make your own clothes. Learn to live off the grid. Sell your own music :) If you agree or disagree with me, I'd love to start a discussion here.
I highly recommend Brett Manning's Singing Success. The website is http://www.singingsuccess.com. Whether you're male or female, rock or country, a beginner or a veteran, the Singing Success course will make you a better singer.
