Kamikaze Radio / Blog

13 LIVE songs have been posted. These tracks include a studio session recording containing previously recorded material (Sex, Drugs & Sushi Rolls CD) new unreleased songs (at that time), unfinished songs in progress and lastly a song called The Boy Who Destroyed The Earth that was recorded sometime later before the band split. Unfortunately this track was recorded using a video camera and the audio is not so great, but regardless it was a really great song to play and you can tell that from the sheer energy contained in both versions that are available.

Moving down the local charts to #26!

THANKS for all the KAMIKAZE RADIO listens and new fans! Pretty cool to have a band that ended back in 2005 still receiving so much local love.

On that note, my band before K.R., BOY KICKS GIRL, is in the top 10 local charts and ready to reclaim #1 after breaking up in 2000.

Also, be sure to check out Blast!, bassist from BKG's new band (he plays guitar now).

What does all this mean? Not really sure, but I'm itching to write music again and play shows. If the demand is there, and BKG and KR keep climbing the charts I'll take that's as a sign that San Jose and the Bay Area desperately need a change in the local music scene, back to basic punk rock roots, and want me back on stage with new material.

I sadly haven't picked up my guitar since after BKG's 2009 reunion show, but there's always been new songs swirling in my head. So thanks again for still being there after so many years. Keep listening, tell your friends to listen and let's see what happens...

xoxo - Kevin
