Thanks to all who made it out to the Rio Nido Roadhouse! It was a wonderful night - great weather and great audience, and none other than Lester Chambers of the legendary Chambers Brothers hung out with us all evening, and even graced us with a beautiful performance of People Get Ready! How cool is that?!
We've got a bunch of new gigs booked, starting with June 20th at the Rio Nido Roadhouse - always a great time there! Then, after a few extended vacations for band members this summer, we have a bunch of bookings in Sept. and Oct. Check it out!
We hope you made it to the KOWS radio benefit at the Hopmonk. We performed just before Dylan Chambers and Lester Chambers, and it was a blast! And Lester sounded great! We hope it was not truly his farewell gig, because it sounds like he could keep going and going!
Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at the Rio Nido Roadhouse, Tradewinds, and Twin Oaks Tavern the last few weeks! We will have some new gig announcements soon. In the meantime, we're adding some more tunes from the Beatles and Zeppelin.
Come check us out at the Tradewinds in Cotati on February 7th. New members Scott (drums) and Michael (bass and vocals) will make their debut with us, along with some great new tunes (Beatles, Doors, Spencer Davis and more)!
Don't miss us at the Rio Nido Roadhouse on Oct. 11th. We'll have a special guest sitting in on some tunes, and it should be a great evening of psychedelic melodies and outrageous instrumentals!
We will be playing at the Rio Theater and Cafe in Monte Rio from 6:30 to 8:30 or so, followed by fireworks from Creekside Park next door. Come for the musical fireworks and stay for the regular kind!
Looks like more gigs in the immediate future, so stay tuned!
Don't miss the Captain at the (free!) Rotary Giro Bello Expo at the O'Reilly Media Campus in Sebastopol on June 28th. And if you know anyone at Oakmont, you can get tickets to the Boomers Club 4th of July bash at the Berger Center on (you guessed it) July 4th!!
Come check us out in Cotati! We'll be doing our new original tune, along with some "new" ones by Mountain, Stephen Stills and others.
