A couple more bits of news, this weekend I will be running in the 5K for Race for the Rescues at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, representing team Dachshund Rescue Of Los Angeles #DRLA, led by my friend Connie Moreno! The rescues in Southern California take in SOOO many homeless and unwanted pets, and they truly need our help to keep operating and saving these beautiful little souls. You can help me raise more money for the rescue, via my fundraising page:

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm grateful for...

...all the amazing friends I have in my life that have helped me through a year of change, pain, joy and growth, my fans for continuing to believe in me, even when my faith in myself wears thin, the incredible endorsements I have that support me as an indie artist, and the friendships I have made within those working relationships that will last a lifetime, the strength I've gained in these past 2 years to speak truth and learn to let go of things that were damaging me, even though it was the hardest decision I have ever made in my life, my mother, sister and step dad for their forgiveness and love, even though we did not speak for 7+ years due to other relationships in my life that prevented me from having clear thoughts, and to the music artists and songwriters that inspire me and emotional heal me when I am in doubt and the only place I can turn to is a song or a voice.

These things have truly shaped the woman I'm becoming and I am very grateful for all of it. Many of you have noticed that this year has been much different as far as the way I speak to yall, the things I've shared, and it's because I've turned a new chapter. Along with that, it has opened my eyes to things that no longer suit me and new opportunities that I, at one point in my life, was blinded to. As we finish "Outlaw In Love", and struggle to get it released, it has also made me realize I don't want to solely be a recording and performing artist. It has been much more heartache than fulfillment and there is no doubt my soul aches for something different.

I have decided to go to college to get a degree in Music Therapy. I will continue to make music, and perform, especially for charity or friends, but my focus will be on making a difference in people's lives through music. Some of you have written me and expressed how my music has helped you through a difficult time, and that is exactly why I became a songwriter/musician in the first place. The fact is though, it is expensive and difficult to release music, at least for me as I don't know how to engineer and record my own records. Being a Music Therapist gives me a chance to make a career out of what I know, and that is music, but more importantly, it gives me the opportunity to help people through a channel that I am passionate about.

Before doing this though, we have an album to release! Some of you may have seen via Facebook that we are struggling with finishing funds to release the album. We need about $2,000 more to finish recording and get the CDs printed. I am honestly not sure how to achieve this. Would running a 2nd Indiegogo campaign be the answer? A GoFundMe page? I want to be able to give yall something for the contributions you give, and I'm just stumped how to do it. if any of you have suggestions, or comments, please write them back to me as I love hearing from you and want to know what YOU want.

The album is amazing. The songs are some of my favorite that I have ever written and the musicianship is incredible. I cannot thank Chris Hoffman, Erik Ralston and Ian Charlie enough for all the time they have put in to share their talent with me. Also, my engineer Francisco Rodriguez for getting creative with me and making this all happen on a literal shoestring. We will be doing a private CD release in April, which will be filmed for everyone around the world to see, but we have to raise the money to get "Outlaw In Love" done and released.

Send me your ideas, and in the meantime, in honor of the holiday and "Black Friday", all merch on my website is 50% off. Get some swag for cheap and know that it will all be going towards getting the album finished. Go to www.thisisGR.com/shop to get some Christmas gifts, or something for yourself. Any way you can help is much appreciated!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and I look forward to sharing my new adventures with you, and getting this album finished so I can give you new music.

"How To: The Musical" Premiere 8/19 - St. Jude - Street Food Cinema

Hi yall!

GR here! Hope you're enjoying summer! It's been an awesome year, for a lot of people, and it just keeps getting better.

Last weekend, I was thrown into a crazy, fun and exciting project that turned out being more amazing than I could have imagined. A couple months ago, my dear friend Amy Campione, and director Zhandra Reyes, approached me about writing the music for their 48 Hour Film Project, which is when filmmakers build teams of creatives to write, film and edit a short film in 48 hours. One of the many challenges is you don't know your genre or the 3 elements you have to incorporate into your script, until the contest begins! If they for some reason drew the genre "Musical", they wanted me to handle the musical part of it. I agreed, of course, and 6 weeks went by...

Last Friday night, I got a call at 7:30pm that our team "One More for the Road" had drawn the genre "Musical". From that moment through 7:30pm Sunday night, it was a whirlwind of creativity, drive, passion and fun. I feel very blessed to have been a part of it.

How To: The Musical will be screening this Wednesday night for all of you to come see and experience!! Also, if you attend, this will help us win the AUDIENCE AWARD, so please support if you're free!

Wednesday, August 19th - 7pm "How To: The Musical" Premiere - Screening Group A Regal Cinemas at LA LIVE - Downtown Los Angeles, CA Here is the ticket link, select SCREENING GROUP A: ab-aut.ticketbud.com/losangeles48hfpfilmfest

I want to thank Zhandra Reyes and Amy Campione for asking me to be a part of it, my amazing friend and recording partner Francisco Rodriguez for teaming up with me to compose and produce, also Grant R. Gimpel for composing, an incredible script writing team, Kevin Carragher and Esther J. Han, AMAZING cast, loved working with our stars Amy Campione, Jackson Davis, Aida Lembo and Blaise Godbe Lipman in the studio to record their vocals! Thank you to everyone, and congratulations. We made an awesome movie!

In other GR news, besides the first single from "Outlaw In Love" dropping super soon, I'll be performing at Street Food Cinema on Sept. 26th for Ghostbusters!! Check out www.streetfoodcinema.com for all the details, and tickets!

I'm also fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through Sept. 26th to end Childhood Cancer. This charity meant a lot to my Dad, and he supported it since its opening in 1962. In turn, it has always meant a lot to me, and I love having the opportunity to raise funds for them annually for their Walk Run. To donate, visit walkrun.stjude.org/glitterrose! Thanks so much!

Hope to see all of you who are in LA this Wednesday at Regal Cinemas at LA LIVE for the premiere of How To: The Musical! Thanks for all the support.

Hi yall!

Glitter here. "Outlaw In Love" is well under way, and sounding amazing. Unfortunately, the recording process is taking a little longer than expected due to funding but what's amazing about art is when enough people are passionate about the piece, they all work together to make it complete. I am very fortunate to have mixing engineer Francisco Rodriguez on my team as well as my incredible band Chris Hoffman, Erik Ralston and Rob K who are being creative and giving up their time to do what it takes to get this album done. I also want to thank each and every one of you who contributed to the Indiegogo Campaign because without it, there would be no recording at all, so you are making this a reality!
