the local radio just opened up a club and showcase bands that dont get to play at the main stream clubs...they've been big supporters of local music and are great people...i took my lights and 4 x 15 inch subs in and we're using them on their stage...we have the best lites and probably the best sound in town...and are about to purchase state of the art 32 x input sound board w digital snake and upgrade 6 sub drivers and 2 amps...it's great being non proffit !!!...that with the fact that we broadcast the show on the radio, stream it on the internet, do an interview and will soon be producing studio quality live recordings with the option to press vinyl !!! we're already getting bands calling us to play from van and vic...we dont charge a door and only sell beer from within our broadcast range...i think it's a great alternative to what this town has had to offer...so if your not into that, come try this...last week we had three bands that kicked absolute fucking ass...any if you werent there then you missed one of the greatest rock and roll shows this town has had in ages...don't miss out again...keep up to date on whats goin on...like i said, its free...what have you got to loose and you just might see your next favorite band...or the next big band before they get huge and inaccessable...

On the pile...2 new songs...got the basics just gotta put em on "tape"...also comming soon...(I hope)...Carvin 100 watt full stack...LOUD...and lights...looking at a rack of lights...4 wash, 6 spot and 4 turning thingies...all are led and have a huge color range...so that and a lot of fog and it should be INSANE!!!

my song for the show is called...born to die - a christmas sermon...its got a heartbeat with ambient sounds, gunfire...left ard right different voices and a stereo voice all saying the night before christmas...a minister (the kind that are 30ish, have a shaved head, wear jeans and a black tshirt with a cross on it that looks like it came off a ufc fighters t-shirt...with a rock band and the words to the songs projected on the wall so you can sing along) doing a sermon called born to die, through a bull horn effect...throw in some crying baby, some delay effected moans and repeat for about 25 mins...the video has 1950 christmas pictures of familys, christmas trees, christmas ads, pin up girls with christmas trees and presents, war and concentration camps in winter with snow and shit...sort of a statement about being oblivious with a little bit of commercilism thrown in...i guess...i actually came up with that later to justify it...i just thought it was bad ass

Last night I played a solo set at CHLY 101.7 FM. GH got wasted and threw up and passed out, so he was unable to stand at his gear. The show must go on...I played "Periods Daddy" and "The Fine Art of Urine Collection". After the show i was told "I didn't know a guitar could make those sounds"...mission accomplished!

Ok...since last time...or so I think...show venue changed and a couple live sets...FIRST...due to whatever...Headliners cancelled...right after I talked them up live at the radio station...we did a live set and plugged the show...i get home and theres an email saying that we will not be able to play there because they changed their minds and are closing a week before our show...hmmpf...anyways...from this setback comes good things...better venue...better sound...better lights...JUST PLAIN BETTER!!!...That is, for those of you who forgot...DEC 22, 2012...Be there! It will be AWESOME!!!...and...Dec, 11, 2012 on CHLY 101.7 another live set...11pm-2am...www or fm...probably live video feed as well...WORD!
