Florida Goon AKA Florida Goon Beatz, Florida Goon 904, Chop, Choppa, Southsyde Choppa, Lil Choppa, Lil Choppa 904, 904 Goon, AKA.... Brandon Bragg began creating instrumentals at the age of 12 in 2006. He started making and shortly thereafter selling his instrumentals. His passion for making beats exploded into an obsession. All hours not at school or sleeping were in fact spent on making music. At 14, Slip N Slide Records had sent him an offer. As he was still a minor in school, his mother said no. So, he continued on until he began hearing his work on the radio by various artists. His music style is heard in labels and artists worldwide. Although he had received no credits for his work, he did not want to pursue legal matters as the funds to do so were not available, nor did he want to. It is not clear yet where the beginning point of his music leaking out began. It is suspected that a couple of more established producers for large labels are the key. Truth be told, you will not find another artist or producer with publishing dates as far back as Florida Goon using the same combination of instruments, time signature, tempo, counts, specific rhythm and program that he uses. He simply wanted to create music and work with other artists in the industry. He created music out of his personal life experiences and the emotions that the experiences brought with them. His talent is on another level of it's own. It's as though his music lives and breathes. He was sentenced to 20 years in October 2014 into Florida State Penitentiary system.
