Top of the morning to ya, Daredevil Nation! I hope y’all are having a spectacular week filled with some kick ass music, no regrets, and piñata’s. Because piñata’s are the second best thing to a jet ski. I like to use this forum to keep all of you informed, and maybe even put a wrinkle in your brain. But moving forward, I’d like to involve our friends and fans in this blog. If you have questions, comments, concerns, pictures, shenanigans, or even the best meme you’ve seen in a while, please share with us at: email@example.com
As many of you know, “What It Takes” has been doing its thing on radio. We were supposed to have a video to accompany the single, but things got a little crossed and it didn’t quite turn out the way we envisioned. It happens. However, we have been working diligently to rectify the situation with a new video. It’ll be coming down the pipeline ASAP. Be on the lookout for its release.
We had our first show of the New Year at Six Strings in Bloomington. We absolutely love this place. They treat us, and our fans with the upmost care. Of the 200+ people in attendance, I didn’t see anyone have to wait for a drink. That’s some good service right there. It was truly a great time, and we want to thank all of you for coming out and supplying the energy. Our buddies in The Robert Brown Band were on point with a killer show too. We want to thank them for joining us on stage for a great evening of rock and country. They really cranked it to eleven! Speaking of which, here’s a shout out to the hard of hearing. Yeah, my jokes need work.
We also won “Best Single” and “Fan Favorite” from the L.A. Music Critic Awards. It’s great to be recognized by critics and peers, but winning the fan favorite is unparalleled. That is because all of you took the time to vote. You chose us as your favorite. Your support and love is appreciated more than we can ever repay. I said this in one of my Facebook posts a few days ago, and I will share it here too, “When people love what you do, it can make a career. When you love the people who love what you do, it’s a family.” That’s right. Daredevil Nation is our family.
We have a lot going on behind the scenes too. There are lots of new shows getting confirmed, and many more that are in the works. We are really trying to get out and spread our wings. We’ll be in Branson, Missouri on April 1st, and Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 28th. Of course let’s not forget the Castle Theater with Jason Boland February 27th. There are more shows on our calendar as well. Follow us on the Bands in Town app for our up to date concert schedule.
Hand Hugs, and High Fives,
WE HAVE WRAPPED ON RECORDING AND THE NEW EP TITLED 'WHAT IT TAKES' SHOULD BE OUT AT THE END OF AUGUST. THE SINGLE 'WHAT IT TAKES" WILL BE AVAILABLE AT DIGITAL DISTRIBUTORS SUCH AS iTunes ON JULY 20TH!
Hey everyone, Spring has sprung, and we are back in high gear. We have had a good month. We've had a blast opening for Granger Smith and David Allan Coe this month, and tonight I get to open for Jana Kramer. We are getting ready to head to the studio to record the follow up to our self titled EP. I've thrown up several tunes on the reverb player that are in the running to be on the album, but we need your help, and more importantly your feedback. After all, it's YOU who we are making the record for. So please take a few minutes and listen to the songs toward the bottom of the reverb media player and tell us what YOU think should go on the next record. send us a message on our reverb page or facebook messenger at: www.facebook.com/zachlinleyrdd (and give us a 'like' while you're there) Thanks ya'll, Zach
We are hitting the studio this weekend to record full band versions of most of the demos that are up on the reverbnation player. So, until the record is done, i will be making all of these demos available for sale, and sending 1/2 the profits to Zach Brown's music camp for kid's. Get it while ya can folks, it's a great cause, and I'll be taking all the demos down as soon as the album is completed.
Be sure and check the tour dates page. We've added several dates coming up in the next couple months. Hope to see you soon
Chad, our bass player and brother in arms, had surgery last night and will be out for a while. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on stage soon.
